Das Zimmer war grosszügig und ruhig. Das Abendessen (Burger) war sehr gut, doch das Frühstück eher etwas bescheiden, d.h. geschmacklich weniger überzeugend.

Leider waren die Wände des Zimmers nicht mehr einwandfrei (sehr graue Ecken, könnte auf Schimmel hinweisen). Geplant und abgesprochen war das Frühstück auf 0830 Uhr, doch leider konnten wir um diese Zeit nicht ins Restaurant. Ein hilfsbereiter Hausmeister hat uns dann

The male at the front of the house seriously needs a lot of training and should maybe consider work out of hospitality! We found him unhelpful, rude , miserable, and I could go on! Has gone downhill since my last stay app 2 years ago!

Convenience of location

The fact that we were unable to access the Restaurant for our included breakfast with this booking on 23rd April. Having to leave the building carrying our luggage via the Night Exit (Fire Escape) No staff in attendance whatsoever on the Morning .The Hotel had been lovked overnight and the was no Daytime Staff in attendance when we left at 10.00 a.m. Whilst the Fire Escape/ Night Exit route was open .Had there been a fire in another part of the building it might not have been so easy to get out several access doors were locked!!! We are seeking redress for the lack breakfast which we paid for (included the booking)The additional expense of finding break fast elsewhere. We will not recommend The Black Lion despite this being our third visit all.of which gave been booked through yourselves We not be returning Most disappointing and we look gorward to receiving compensation and your comments

Everything was excellent clean and breakfast was good and tasty

Restaurant, evening meal, room ok, staff ok.

Breakfast was only staffed by the chef? This is a change from my last visit. Chef said the 'other' staff had put the coffee pods somewhere he wasn't told? Breakfast wasn't the same quality ingredients as previous visits. I'm sad that I don't feel like returning to this establishment, it seems like changes have been made in order to cut corners (costs) 😞

The location was as expected close to the centre of Lampeter, parking was easy and free. Food when available was good, first night we arrived no chef was available dinning room closed, second morning no staff available could not access the main area of the hotel, no food or drink available.

Lack of staff and information, unable to contact staff when things went wrong. The bar area closed at 9.00pm
