Royalton Saint Lucia, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort

La nourriture était très bonne et un partie pris pour la cuisine locale bien exécuté.

Les parties communes cachées ne sont pas nettoyées (escaliers sales, crottes de rat présentes pendant tout le séjour de 5 jours, odeurs d'humidité dans l'ascenseur, etc...). L'hôtel manque d'entretien (l'air salin attaque les miroirs décoratifs au niveau de la réception, les transats sont tachés, les portes des chambres sont abîmées, la serrure électronique des portes est oxydée, etc...). A plusieurs reprises les assiettes au buffet étaient sales. La plupart du personnel est sympathique mais certains sont antipathiques, pas souriants et même hautains.

The breakfast was good. Lots of choices. A lot of sliced fruit always available. Cereal, yogurt, eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast always available. We liked the overall property, our room, the maid service, the pools, especially the lap pool. The Dune Buggy excursion (Northen Sights) was very good, we loved it. (We did not like the Sunset Cruise excursion at all.) We liked the gym facility.

One constant with all of the food was that it was not hot when you expected it to be. The desserts were almost always dry and not very tasty. (With some exceptions.) The main thing someone needs to be aware of with this resort is that since it is an all-inclusive, it attracts a lot of people who drink a lot all day. Due to this is has a lot of very loud music all evening in the outdoor area until about 11:00 PM. There is no way to block it out of the rooms. You can't find peacefulness. This is true of the pools during the day as well. One of the excursions we took was the Sunset cruises. We mistakenly thought it would be peaceful. It was not. Very, very loud music was played during the entire cruise. We also got a bad intestinal problem the next day from the food we ate on the cruise. Major disappointment!!

A resort which is an insult to the beautiful island of St Lucia - heavy air conditioning, escalators, noise, booze, vomit, and jacuzzi bathtubs in rooms for show - Royalton should give its land back to the locals and go elsewhere.
