It's a bit rundown, but clean, and extensive renovations have commenced. Staff were very friendly and helpful - my room didn't have a toaster or an iron, but these were happily supplied on request. I asked about the Parrtjima festival and details of how to get there were promptly printed. When a bus arrived early to pick me up for a camel ride, they were assisted to find me in my room. The room was big with lovely morning sun. I had a great 9 day stay.

Receptionist is very bad. I was staying more than 10 days and she charged me security deposit and said she will refund it when I will check out. on the day of check out I was leaving early morning so she said she will refund at 9 am when reception office will be open. On the second day she was not there and she has not refund even today.

The property was falsley advertized. The pictures on the web are totally different than it actually is. No room maintenance whatsoever. One cup for coffee...one towel per guest and the carpets are filthy. The property advertised that breakfast was included, but nothing was there but an empty camp like kitchen. My daughter has multiple bug bites from the bed. I do not recommend this property at all.

Awful - toilet wasn't cleaned properly, hair on the shower floor and all over the left over soap, bathroom door slider didn't work and could not be closed for privacy, the sink tap drips, multitude of food crumbs and mould all over the fridge seal, the carpet is incredibly stained and had so much gum and other hard substances stuck to it we had to wear shoes the whole time, the kettle had a shocking amount of limescale build up which isn't a health issue as such but the rust spots chipping off would be, the bedding consisted of two sheets and there were no spare blankets anywhere so it was uncomfortably cold at night.

Room was cheap due to on site renovations. Staff very good need clean room neat and tidy bathroom clean and neat. Carpet in room was pretty worn but understand that renovations were going on. I’d stay again. Air conditioning good.

Was the longest night of my life. Gate was left open all night, so people were walking around the compound during the night. I ended up leaving at 11pm and sleeping in my car a couple of hours down the road.

I never aspect from this motel because very bad smelling room bathroom need to be repair no clean kitchen and over all cant lock up the door.

I booked in advance the night before, going by previous reviews, photos and the price. I arrived at dusk. My attached photo was taken the following morning. It looked even worse when I arrived, with the addition of people sitting in the gutter and on the footpath. Given the difference between reality and the published photos, my natural assumption was that I'd been scammed. by I've haven't been given any reason since to change that opinion. When I booked it clearly said non-refundable. Now I understand why. My first (and hopefully last) bad decision on Trip Advisor. What I saw that evening made me decide to blow the money I'd paid and book in at another motel. Having booked in, I checked my email and found one from the Alice Motor Inn giving me the gate details and room number. A bit late by then. No idea why they didn't ring to give me the details, 'cos they had my number. The reality is that it may be a really good motel. I don't know and I never will, 'cos after this experience, there's no way known I'd book in there again. My recommendation is not to book in advance. Have a look first, then make your decision.

We only stayed 1 night out of the 5 the room was dirty smelly and the drain was blocked the room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3 p.m we weren't offered a refund i was most upset with the room

Unfortunately not good experience. The place is a bit rundown, room smelled of cigarette, shower was loose and corroded and with poor water pressure. Also we were expecting a double bed and two twin beds, and got a double and a single bed.
