Cascades Mountain Resort, an Ascend Collection Hotel

This place is by far one of my worst experiences ever. It’s very old rundown and very unclean. Nothing was working properly, no hot tubs, no fitness room, no breakfast, shortage of towels for pool. There was a roach on my table in my room. Very dark and scary. No hot water on the second day there. Mold on the ceiling in bathroom. I can go on and on about the horrible things wrong. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone. It is by far the worst.

The place was very disappointing. The parking lot and planters had grass and weeds and dead plants growing in them. The few cars in the parking lot were scary. The front doors were open and they were cleaning up water. No one in lobby, we weren’t even sure it was open. The one person at reception had three rings on his face and a tank top. To be honest it was so scary we ended up staying at another hotel. They should remove this hotel from hotels.com

I know that this hotel was cheap but I still expect it to be clean and safe . Dirty moldy and dusty!!! Hot tubs broken fitness area closed restaurant closed vending machines broken . Pretty sure I saw a homeless person using a screwdriver to get into a room . Dark Dirty hallways to walk a mile to your room the only thing to make it a little scarier walking to your room at night is to add a clown at the in lol. Ceiling in bathroom falling apart . Lobby worn down . Hotel definitely needs a lot of TLC. Would not recommend staying here the indoor pool is not worth it !!

I stayed at cascade mountain resort for one night i was booked for 4, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I strongly believe this property should be removed from the website to prevent others from having a similar experience. First, the cleanliness of the property was unacceptable. Upon arrival, I noticed that lobby was unclean, and there were stains on the carpet and all the lobby furniture. It was evident that the property had not been properly cleaned a while which is completely unacceptable the wi-fi was non-existent in the rooms, overall my stay at the cascade mountain resort was a nightmare. i ended up checking out the next morning an checking in to the best western across the street. I urge you to remove this property from your website to protect other travelers from going through what I did. Save your money and sanity, and book else where Clarence Jackson 5/22-5/25/2024

Absolutely no wifi except at front desk, no amenities except for pool the pool was very nice indoor pool but no hot tubs working, the place looked like the owner was barely keeping it open and it looked online and stuff that was there that I don't understand why you couldn't use was beautiful looked like if it was running properly would be a great place to go but it was not.

This stay was absolutely horrible!! We get there and are told the hot tubs are down, the fitness don’t work, the drink machines are out of order, no breakfast, no restaurant. We paid over $250 for 2 nights for my sons birthday, we found dirty men’s boxers in the drawer, there was blood stains on the kids sheets, and hair all over it. We asked for a refund, and they only give us $40 back, this is unacceptable, definitely do not ever go to this hotel. Even the lady running the desk at the time of our visit said she knows how bad the rooms are and understands our frustration. That is RIDICULOUS.

The services were not operational. Rooms were not adequately equipped. Lights were out. Two hangers in a closet.

Poor lighting in parking lot and extremely overgrown grass, vines, bushes greeted us as we check in. Trash can overflowing and a fully decorated Christmas tree displayed in lobby. Yes a Christmas tree still up May 15th. Room dirty and after swimming wanted to take a shower but no hot water. Called front desk "oh let me check the boiler see if it is turned on " No restaurant or breakfast as advertised. Property rundown and I can't believe Choice Hotels has this under their umbrella. Do yourself and your family a favor and stay elsewhere. NEVER again even if it was free.

Hotels.com site boasts about a heated pool,AND hot tubs. Stayed here with my wife a few years ago and it was amazing. This time the hot tubs were down for OVER a year. Fire pit didnt work, broken chairs, no breakfast, restaurant was closed down, ran out of toilet paper, beds were like sleeping on a table, landscaping has been let go and makes the place even more rundown, hallways looked like need repair badly. Overall a horrible experience since we came specifically for the hot tubs!!! No warning on site no nothing found out when i checked in.
