Cascades Mountain Resort, an Ascend Collection Hotel

no food empty vending machines. had to carry luggage up stairs (83 and 85 yrs old). Prepaid in full earlier for a crappy room. Beds should be destroyed. Room key did not work - another trip down stairs. Was told no breakfast available. Would not ever stay in a place like this.

Took hours to get fresh towels. Never had towels available at the pool.

The bed had mouse droppings in it there qere roaches, none of the amenities that were mentioned on rhe website were available

Pool and slide were awesome.. room was clean, but bar/restaurant was closed, no WiFi, gift shop was also closed

Very disappointed but made it work for 1 night. The heat throughout the building is almost unbearable. You’ll be drenched in sweat just trying to get to your room. No elevator to assist with luggage or people who cannot take stairs. Room was dirty with crusted buildup on the back of the toilet and a roach trap found under a chair. We were woken up at 10pm with our 4 small children by someone trying to come into our room and then again a 2nd time by the hotel clerk saying that they must have made a mistake because they didn’t show us booked in that room even though we checked in at 4:30pm that day. The hot tub areas were shut down, main pool was open. All the pool chairs were tattered, bent, and lopsided. The entire place needs a major upgrade. Their Health score showed at 96 but I think the health department was extremely generous. It will not be a place I would recommended.

This place was not at as advertised! Rundown, no restaurant, hot tub out of order. We did not stay, rather moved across the road to Ramada! Do not send people to this place.

Whoa.... this place should be on Stranger Things because it is right out of the 80's. Rooms are dated and the whole place having pools and hot tubs in the open lobby area makes the entire place smell chlorinated and feels very warm. I would not stay here again unfortunately. But my shining light was the lady who checked me in. Her personality made me smile during my check-in process.

Everything was closed. No AC in the main areas of the hotel, not clean, paint was chipped, blood spots in the bathroom floor, but front desk was very helpful and we canceled the reservation and went elsewhere. There was also no WiFi and only thing on property that was open was the pool.
