Cascades Mountain Resort, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Check in gal was rude. Young blonde with crazy long fake eyelashes and heavy make up. Didn’t greet us, when I was checking in and asked about a crib that was to be included with our stay she told me just to go buy one at Walmart. I found another employee by the pool who was helpful and messaged the manager and placed a playpen outside our door later that day. This hotel is not what it seems to be online. The only thing functioning was the pool. You still had to go to the front desk to request towels for the pool. No breakfast/restaurant, no bar, no fitness room, no hot tubs working, WiFi not even working!! The halls were as hot as a sauna. There is no elevator and they acted like it was a problem to put us on the first floor even though they saw we had a baby in a stroller and a toddler and lots of luggage that we had to carry up a flight of stairs. And there was literally 2 cars in the parking lot when we checked in so it wasn’t like they were full. So if all you care about is a pool and water slide, it’s a great place, but it’s not the “resort” it claims to be and it’s not convenient for families. The room itself had a table but not one single chair. So there was nowhere to dine on property or even in your room with your take out. The manager is obviously not doing a good job at keeping things in working order and expecting good customer service out of their desk agents.

We loved the property, and how everything was setup. But this place needs some tlc. Bathrooms needed paint floor was uneven so the door wouldnt open all the way. Aged furniture. Outstanding service though.

Reminiscent of 50s style hotels. Great indoor pool. Clean room. Needs lots of TLC. There was no hot water. Restaurant was closed.

We were not told about any infestation of bedbugs which was the case , I reported this and asked for my money back and was told yes my night would be refunded. 1 family member is covered head to toe in bites

This would make a great place to film a horror movie. That’s all I got to say.

This place needs a lot of maintenance inside and out. A/c units all inside the hallways leaking water on the carpet in the room and baseboard trim missing etc.

Beautiful place to stay

Unclean. Beds had blood,urine,and fecal debris in them. Possible bed bugs also. No hot water to shower with. Toilet clogged and difficult to flush. No breakfast area. Hot tub was broken unable to use.

There was never anyone at the front desk. We could never get towels then on the site. It was saying that it had a restaurant. It did not have a restaurant that was open. I put my brother in there, thinking it was gonna be convenient for him because he didn’t have the means to do a lot of things coming from Florida so I thought it would be fun at the Cascades hotel. Would it be a pool and a restaurant and here the restaurant was closed did not know that And then he said that it could really be an awesome place. It had so much potential but nothing was happening. There was never any help at the front desk and he couldn’t get towels and the person really to talk to is my brother about his stay. I was just upset that he didn’t enjoy his stay from Florida when I was thought. Cascades was the place to stay here in Hendersonville.

Was our first time. Was good. Didn’t like the feeling unsafe there by the pool. There was people coming in without keys, doors were unlocked. I asked they said all doors locked but we checked they were not, there was a guy in pants and back pack sleeping on the lounge chair by pool forv5 hrs. . Didn’t like staff smoking up front outside doesn’t look good or smell good. I really had fun with my grands there, I will go back again see if it was just one in million chance . Probable out off season to hot tubs down and bathroom down by pool. Gift shop closed. Maybe high season it opens or maybe maintenance I will still recommend this resort. Was nice.
