Cascades Mountain Resort, an Ascend Collection Hotel

This property did not share that it was closing or being sold. There was no Wi-Fi nor any of the amenities shown except for the pool. This was an old hotel that ended up having a newer façade built around it, and so in the hallway, all the exhaust fans from the air in the room blew to the hallways making it extremely hot.

The outside needs a landscape and the hot tubs didn’t work and didn’t work last year.I was not satisfied this time staying here

This property is the worst. The blankets were stained, mice got into our food, there was no WiFi, breakfast, or new towels. The hallways were hot, humid, and loud with the sound of the AC units. The inside lock was broken off, and the key cards had to keep being rekeyed. There was no working vending machine, and no other concessions. The pool was ok and the front desk personnel were nice. Other than that, do not stay here!

Upon walking in the beautiful front Fountain is broken which should have been a sign . I go to the front desk she asks for my name we get the room situated . She tells me in the short conversation we have that the owners don't have any money and that they're selling out in the middle of September . I try not to think too much of it . Maybe she's just having a bad night? We get up to the room everything seems fine the kids go to the pool . Come bedtime though , There were stains on the bedspreads that were yellow but small and the sofa bed had what looked like blood stains and urine stains. I went to the front desk and asked what could be done. When the blonde front desk lady decided to get up and quit scrolling on her phone she looked up at me, clicked her teeth and said, ver batim "ok... so. Um.... what do you want me to do about it?" I should have left then but... non refundable.... the husband was already asleep.. she told me to dig around in the drawers and try to find some sheets. I found one sheet. When I went back down to the front desk I waited no one was there to ask for extra blankets for my children. At about 7:30 a.m. I crack open one of my eyes and see two women peeking in my hotel room window. Then I hear them tap on it. I get up and go to the door and they say they didn't know anyone was in there. Turns out they were housekeepers. broken Fitness room is broken no breakfast no bar. The pool was cloudy. The only cool thing about this place was the water slide.

To be honest, this location had none of the amenities as described. It did not have wifi, instead had random hotspots. The restaurant was shut down, and has been for quite some time. The hot tub was inoperable. The property needed to be cleaned up and have landscaping done. This use to be a really nice place to stay and visit. The quality of this location has went downhill dramatically. I definitely won't be staying at this location again, unless some big changes for the positive takes place.

I was ok with knowing it had zero amenities other than a pool, but there was also no pool towels. My room key wouldnt work, after 3 times. The only upside was the afternoon shift lady was friendly. Everything and everyone else i delt with was an all around terrible experience

Our stay was terrible No breakfast, the WiFi was down, the hot tubs didn’t work, the beds were very uncomfortable, the lamps in the rooms half worked, the pool was ice cold due to they’re systems being down the whole time we were staying.. I’m not sure if it’s under new management, but it doesn’t seem to look like they’re taking care of it.

Nothing here was worth the stay to even think to charge 100 a night is ridiculous nothing was running but the pool yet they post on they page like its a good place to stay more like a hole in a wall, ended up staying at a different place down the road

If your looking for economical accommodations, this is for you. If you sre looking for a good indoor pool, this is for you. Otherwise, you'll ptobsbly be disappointed.
