Cascades Mountain Resort, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Tub was backed up. TV had no box or remote so I couldn't watch anything. And there was no toilet paper in the room. The only positive thing was the bed was decently comfortable and looked clean.

I had booked a room here thur Brek.. I got to hotel like 9:15pm to check in ... Noone there to check me in the nice maintenance man said he would be back in 30 min which I had brought food to eat no big deal .. during this time the maintenance man said that the woman that had rented the room before me had took the key home and was asking if we were going to be coming in and out of the room and I had stated no once in there going to stay until the morning... an hour and a half later the guy comes back they can check me in he never says anything about the door being messed up or no key or anything and says the door is open went upstairs to 1207 and the door you could tell they had busted the door to get it..the lock was busted and would not close it was stuck so they was a big gap and the door did not have the Safety Lock went back down to talk to the guy he said they was no more rooms available so feeling unsafe after I had put a chair of against the door I left called to get a refund they denied it STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK...

Rm had someone in it. Only snack machine didnt work. Staff offered tonsell me her bag of chips. Last night i was there no hot water.

I am sorry to say that the desk people did not have the mind to want to be service orientated. The hallways were not vaccumed. When i checked in, my room was not clean. I used the shower and several long strands of hair was in the tub. The phone did not work. The maids did not understand english.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel

This was the worst place ever!!! Did not look like the pictures and we didn't even stay because it was so nasty for us and our little children. Expedia should not even be suggesting this property!!! We left, lost our money, and stayed at a different Hotel.

Antique old nasty ceilings fallibg in, walls cracked falling. Have to get key reset after 1 use all the time. Pics show place to be nice but definitely not

The best part about the stay was the pool with slide. The room was good but the bathroom was very small, fan didnt work so the humidity built up quickly and made a mess. It was very small, and paint coming off the walls in the bathroom. Probably from the moisture .

The staff was friendly but we had an issue with getting our room that we had booked online. They said it was because we had booked thru a third party that they could not meet our needs. Also our room had trash in it, the floor had not been vacuumed, a full beer can was left and it looked like the bare minimum was done. The kids like the pool. Our room stayed nice and cool and we did sleep well.
