Cascades Mountain Resort, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Restaurant closed, hot tub closed. No breakfast. Gym closed. Overall false advertisement. Don’t stay there

Checked in with "Katelyn" who was an awesome young lady, very helpful and efficient. She got 3 of us checked in, 3 different rooms, in about 5 minutes! Had a problem with in-operative keys and she solved that issue immediately!

Pulled up in front of the building and saw the condition of the property and thought it was an abandoned building then went in the lobby didn’t look like it had on the website and was told basically nothing was working no hot tub or working internet nor workout room or breakfast wasn’t offered like the website says plus the building smelled of musty mold . DID NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING!!! Hampton next door is wonderful place we would recommend them.. Cascade did cancel our reservation It’s in need of repair and maintenance.

Room was unlocked and door propped open when we entered. Musty smell. Carpet fraying badly where it meets tile. No Internet in rooms. You have to go to lobby to get Internet. Cell service is bad so couldn't use cell phones in room either. Our room needed a physical key and they only had one key even though there were two of us in the room. Room is dark and dingy and some lamps didn't work. No elevator. Fortunately we were on the first floor. There was also no bath towels in our room. Toilet paper roll was nearly empty with no extra in the room. Bathtub had hair. Their description of the hotel is a lie (see attached). No free breakfast (there’s no breakfast at all), no restaurant, and no WiFi. If they have enhanced cleaning protocols, I’d hate to see what it was before!

The room was adequate. It needed a trash can, toilet paper, and bedding. The pool was nice. The restaurant, cafe, hot tub and fitness center was closed. No breakfast. Lots of promises from this website, disappointment when we got here.

The hotel has no breakfast, no gym, spa has been down for a year and no wifi. I called to confirm my reservation and was told that they were cancelling reservations for 2 days due to no hot water. Debbie refused to initiate a relocation to another hotel. I had to call Expedia and they helped me. They still were taking reservations for this hotel with no hot water. I really hope this hotel can get it together I used to live going here before camp each year. Choice privilege should close it down until they can properly run it.

Needs some much needed TLC. Very run down.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all, we just stayed two nights. The first room we got had a large area of wet carpet from the air conditioning, they did give us another room though. The beds were very hard and you could feel the springs. the hot water didn't work the entire time and we were there and we couldn't even shower. the pool was literally the only thing open, there was no WiFi, no breakfast....the cafe, game room, tavern, hot tubs and fitness center were all inoperable. we were never offered any refunds for our inconvenience. The person working the desk in the evening was very polite and tried to help people the best they could. the room air conditioners were on the wall inside the hallway vs being on the outside of the building which left an exhaust smell throughout the hallway which was very dark. there were no windows to the outside either, only one looking into the hallway.

No wifi, hot tub, gift shop, restaurant, bar or breakfast all of which were advertised. Checked other reviews afterwards (my fault) and all of these issues have been going on for months. That should be inclueed on the description of this place.
