Hyatt Place Greenville/Haywood

Location clean, comfortable bed friendly staff

Breakfast was substandard. Poor choice of cereal, only grits no oatmeal, the eggs looked synthetic, the bagels looked highly processed. Lots of plastic packaging. Definitely a low end offering. Coffee was meh.

The location was convenient to all that we wanted to do.

The air conditioner made rattling noises the night we stayed. But, we only were there one night.

I like almost everything about the property. I’ve stayed there more than a dozen times. This last time I stayed there though I was charged $198.03 for a deposit fee and have called the Hyatt in my bank and the money has still not been released back to me. It’s extremely frustrating because I do really enjoy this Hotel and the staff but this is BS. What’s going on right now the amount charged to me was over the amount of the entire state that I was there which is crazy. Some kind of compensation should be held for occasions like this.

Staff was great, place was clean

The room smelled awful. The room stayed wet the entire time we were there. One elevator was questionable.
