"Not happy guest."

Close to everything I wanted to visit.

Booked king deluxe room. Room was large but room had no alarm clock. Also my last night I asked for a wakeup call that never came! Luckily I woke up on my own. During my room stay, toilet would continue to run after flushing. I had to lift lid and put hand in to hold flushed to make it stop. Over allI will nit be staying here again. Hotel needs some needed updating 😩

"Sweet Find"

Walking distance to many great things. Long walk to Wrigley. Very courteous and helpful staff.

Nothing really to say that I didn't like. If I had to find something, the toilet kind of had tight quarters but that's a me problem.

Willows has a great location if that's the section of Chicago you are visiting. It is an older urban hotel with small rooms and comfy beds. Snacks and drinks in minibar were well priced. Robes were nice

First room featured a brick wall for a view so I switched to a street view which I liked better but it was noisier. No coffee machines. adequate coffee in the lobby

"It was okay."

I loved that it was in a neighborhood.

The property was not very customer centric. I was in town for a night and navigated hours of traffic trying to get to meetings in the suburbs before trying to attend a Cubs game. I had a two hour break between landing and getting to my meeting, so I decided to try and check in. I called and they let me know there were rooms available, so I went out of my way to stop at the hotel. When I arrived, I was told, rather rigidly, that I had to pay $50 for an early check in. This was not mentioned over the phone at all. I didn’t need to go hang out in the room; I wanted my keys because getting them would allow me to avoid rushing back after the meeting, or missing the window for check in if I waited until after the game. They said they would hold my bags but I couldn’t check in until 4 unless I wanted to pay an up charge. It was silly, really, and not abundantly clear that this was policy. Most hotels are accommodating if they can be, and if they can’t be, you adapt. There was no reason for their denial other than the rule, and I was there on business so it wouldn’t have been covered. I ended up leaving for Lisle, then having to come back to my hotel a second time prior to the Cubs game. Because of this, I ended up arriving at the baseball game in the 8th inning. It really soured my impression overall; every other hotel I’ve stayed in - large chain to small B&B- always did what they could to make life easier. I also asked about parking and the people at the desk could t have been less interested in the conversation. They were quick to let me know they had nothing to do with parking. That might be the case but the whole reason I chose that hotel was because they mentioned the close proximity of parking on their website. I was trying to bfigure out which parking garage made the most sense. They were not interested in discussing where the garages were, which were closer Or how much they cost, so I ended up driving around until I found a place.

I liked the location. It’s in a nice, pretty neighborhood and is close to a lot of bus stops.

I was charge $5.52 for M&Ms and a bottle of water, neither of which I had. I called to ask about the charge, which was charged without telling me anything, and the gentleman said the charge would be reversed ~ after a heavy sigh. Most of the staff were friendly and nice, but one in particular was not. This person should be aware he/she works in hospitality and should be friendly and smile once in a while. Perhaps, he/she is dealing with something.

"Relaxing place to stay"

Location was excellent. Really interesting area with lots of quirky shops and good places to eat

No laundry facilities but luckily a good Natasha service nearby
