Abuja Continental Hotel

The staff were exceptionally polite and the food was excellent. Room was above average.

Great location, clean rooms, very polite and accommodating personnel. 4 bottles of water per day per room. Breakfast included is good with a great variety! great gym and swimming pool area.

It is under reconstruction, and there is dust, a paint smell, etc. The spaces that are not yet reconstructed are pretty old. The Air conditioning is either cooling or switched off, but it doesn't stop reaching a particular temperature. The first night, I didn't switch it off, and in the morning, it was 17 Celsius.

Gym and pool are top notch. The new textile (towels, bed sheets) is of premium quality. Bar side pool is fun! Great live music and staff is cordial.

Construction work is still going on and sometimes results in brief power outages. They need to also upgrade their spa rooms. Doesn’t feel like you are in a top hotel’s spa.

everything was terrible.. starting from the outlook of the room environment like university hostels, the rooms inside like refurbished local apartments, the terrible doors that you will almost pull off your hands to open or close, the THE INTERNET in-room was super terrible... it was just tripping off every second and clearly frustrated my stay. the television was unclear as if it was those old antennas used for watching NTA, even the channels.... the floor was tiled with no single rugged area, the bathroom shower made bathing annoying, the toilet was definitely unplanned structurally (else what in Hospitality Name is that thing they put as toilet? even the electric kettle positioning was right in front of the wall mirror and the steam isnt good for the mirror...infact almost everything about my stay was horrible. Or is it the noise from footsteps and heavy machine sounds that kept disturbing tranquility that was assumed? At the end, i regretted that stay. In my opinion, that hotel should be called 1.5 star. The worst part is the price of over 300k plus for a night. I actually expect a refund of atleast 250k plus because that stay isnt worth even 50k.
