location, gentleman in the morning was nice, clean room.

extremely rude person on check-in pretty much set the tone-no smile, didn't explain things well- very rude demeanor, felt like i was checking into a prison.

Central location and good view of bay.

No separate closet.

Beautiful view by the Lake. Great staff and wonderful rooms.

Wish they had more options for continental breakfast.

Bed was very comfortable.

Toilet was dirty, shower curtain was full of mildew, room smelled stale and mildewy, walls and adjoining door were paper thin, could hear everything (yes, everything) in the room next door and the hallway. Definitely not an experience one would expect for a room costing over $230 a night.

My stay at the Inn at Maritime Bay, an Ascend Collection Hotel, was a huge letdown compared to my visit a year and a half ago when it was clean and pleasant. This time, the property was in poor condition—filthy windows, smelly hallways with carpets desperately needing cleaning, and overflowing trash bins outside. The rooms were just as bad, with yellowed, sweat-stained pillows, dirty exterior windows, and no housekeeping unless specifically requested. What the heck? Regardless of a hotel’s style or price, cleanliness is non-negotiable. I addressed my concerns with the front desk, but their indifference suggested a lack of care. Apparently nobody is trying here. I won’t be returning.

I was very big, very spacious, and very close to the car ferry dock.

It looked like something out of the 80s or early 90s. Not very modernized, and the free continental breakfast had no thought put into it. Just an old card table with no tablecloth.
