Hyatt Place San Carlos

Perfect hotel for our two-night stay between flights. The room was spacious, clean and very quiet. Staff members are helpful! The restaurant Kabul is a block away and very good. We ate there both nights!

Breakfast items were lukewarm on the second morning.

Large room with comfortable bed, with space for relaxing and sleeping. Large bathroom. I liked that they had refillable soap/shampoo in the shower and that the print on the bottles was large enough for me to read without glasses. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.

It was a little more than I wanted to pay.

I’ve stayed there many times on business trips and the staff is always exceptional, the rooms are clean, and it’s in a nice neighborhood.

Hatten ein Zimmer Richtung Innenhof und es wahr sehr ruhig. Zum Start in SFO war das nach dem langen Flug echt klasse und zusätzlich ein Parkplatz!

All hotels must make sure that everything is working properly in the rooms before guests check in. We arrived very late. When we got ready to sleep it was almost midnight. The black out did not lower, so light came into the room from outside and hit us directly in the face, thus not allowing us to sleep. The room was bright because of the outside light coming in. Terrible night!

Great service, room, bed, bathroom, breakfast, parking. Gym was decent as well if not busy. Only downside is you need a car to get to the hotel.

Hyatt Place San Carlos is well-furnished and very comfortable. The lobby is large and quiet with lots of separate places to sit. T?he breakfast and bar area is also very comfortable, and quality of breakfast food is excellent. During our three days there, customer service was perfect with no complaints. The only thing to watch out for is the entrance midway up the hill on the side, where as the hotel address is on Camino Real. That seemed to confuse some drivers, but for others it was fine. The hotel is walkable to lots of great restaurants and shops and the downtown area of San Carlos, also centrally located for San Carlos, Redwood, San Mateo, and the highway. We love the Hyatt Place brand by comparison to corresponding hotels of others brands, and this one of the best Hyatt Place hotels I have stayed in.
