Vinland Hotel and Lounge

Overall a very sad experience. We checked in on January 2nd, a Friday. Front desk staff said they were having trouble with the internet and it was not working for a couple of days. No one had called because it was the new years holiday, and no one would call over the weekend. We checked out on the 7th and still didn't have internet. The response from the staff was basically "well it affecting us too". Never saw or heard from a manager the whole stay. A request for towels on Sunday was confirmed (all by text) but never arrived. The room itself was ok at best. Very large, very clean, but sparse. There was a seating are looking outside with one chair, and a couch next to the bed. Mattress was very soft. A table and two chairs would have been nice.

It was ideally located. Had ample parking. Spacious rooms with good bedding and linens. Staff were friendly. The spa was a bonus as well as the lounge. Loved the coffee bar!!

Nothing really. I might only suggest some extra shelves or hooks in the bathroom. Take the shrimp item off the menu at the V lounge. It was not prepared well and not worth the price.

Very clean and friendly staff.

Little pricey per night, but it was peak season when we went.

Location is convenient, room price is reasonable, workers here are very friendly and helpful, the room is a little bit old.

Our Christmas stay was ruined by this hotel. We were given a room (#141) with pet hair on the carpet that flooded overnight due to a known leak in the patio door. Our belongings were soaked and damaged. The customer service was non-existent. The front desk agent ignored us, offered NO apology, and lied about when a manager would be available to assist with a refund. There are no phones in the rooms, the common areas are stained, and the staff is completely indifferent to guest harassment and inconvenience. We checked out early to save our holiday. We are STILL waiting for a response and refund. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Black mold on toiletries, INTERNET & TV VERY INTERMITTENT, maintenance issues, mostly nice, staff, waited 3x to check in, over an hour. I guess I expected more.
