Extended Stay America Suites - Detroit - Ann Arbor - Briarwood Mall

We saw a couple of cockroaches, toilet had urine residue under the seat, and the back door never latched and reeked of damp cigarette. One of the towels appeared to have a couple spots of blood on it. Overall it was not the worst location and if you don’t need amenities, a comfortable bed, updated furniture or aesthetics, or possess the desire to feel clean and rested I’m sure it’s fine for many.

Staff was not friendly, halls cluttered with garbage bags, room not clean.

Great price. Great room with galley kitchen including stovetop. I don't use micros.

I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and they foolishly sprayed Febreeze in the room. I considered sleeping in my car. Had to wear a mask the whole time. Will only stay again if I can call ahead and have them forego the air "freshener".

Not a nice place to stay. Didn’t feel safe, very noisy and unclean.

Holes in the wall and weird smell that I just couldn’t take. Towels were full of someone else’s hair. The floor was not cleaned and the skirt on the bed had so many stains.

It was quiet,comfortable and relaxing

The elevator was broken, the hotel smelled like stale cigarettes, the room had cupboards that were broken and falling off

The building seem very old, the furniture inside the rooms is old and ruined. The rooms are very old and dusty, everything seemed dirty. The worst is that there were hairs on the towels
