Disappointing Stay Due to Staffing Issues, Poor Maintenance, and Lack of Guest Services… Our recent stay at the Woodlands Inn was unfortunately quite underwhelming. There were multiple issues throughout our visit that made the experience frustrating and far from relaxing. First and foremost, the hotel was clearly understaffed. From Thursday through Sunday, the bar and eatery were consistently closed despite posted operating hours. Each time we attempted to visit the interior bar, it was closed. "Crescendos," which was advertised as open for food, only operated once during our entire stay. It was evident that the hotel prioritized staffing for catering events over the needs of overnight guests. Housekeeping was also not attentive. On the second day of our stay, our room was not serviced, and we had to specifically request clean towels as none were brought to our room. This lack of basic service was disappointing. Maintenance issues further added to our concerns. The elevator was in extremely poor condition, making a loud, unsettling metal-on-metal noise that resembled a rocket launch. It was so bad that we chose to take the stairs. Unfortunately, our room was located next to the elevator shaft, and the constant noise made it nearly impossible to sleep. When we brought this to staff attention, we were told it wasn’t a priority and that someone would be out to look at it the following Tuesday—well after our departure. To add to the list, the ice machines and soda machines were broken throughout the hotel, which only reinforced the feeling of neglect. While we understand that staffing challenges can occur, the lack of communication, minimal guest services, and ongoing maintenance issues made our stay disappointing. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve conditions for future guests.

the property itself has a beautiful stream running behind it, which adds a lovely natural touch. And truly, the best part of this hotel is the staff, everyone we met was attentive, friendly, and eager to help.

The hotel has a lot of potential, but it really needs an urgent update. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The entire hotel had a noticeable mildew smell and wasn’t very clean. There was no elevator access to our room, so we had to carry all our luggage up to the second floor, which was inconvenient. The website mentioned EV charging, but in reality, all they had was a 220V socket outside, no charging cables provided. The pool wasn’t inviting either, with a strange foam floating on the surface. There are a few restaurants on-site, but the options were limited to pizza and finger foods. There’s also a Japanese restaurant that looked very nice, though we didn’t get the chance to try it. Breakfast was standard, nothing special, but fine. With some deep cleaning, maintenance, and updates, this place could be amazing. But as it stands now, it just doesn’t live up to its potential.

I love the scenery around and throughout the resort.

The pool area could use some TLC, and by the end of our stay the water was a tint of tan🤮 Since kids are welcome there around be a game room added.

The staff. They were pleasant.

There was never coffee in lobby, the pool was so dirty you couldn't see the bottom of it. The halls smelled like wet moldy rugs. The staircase were all leaking and no signs of wet when slippery. Bathtub was dirty.
