Shilo Inn Suites Hotel - Bend

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all, not even a pretend quick wipe down. Piss around the toilet, pubes and other hair in shower tub, leftover shower goo on the walls, no hand washing soap or bar of any kind, stains everywhere on everything, random wet spots in the carpet and the list goes on. We were checking in late after a long day of driving and the check in was already so cumbersome (she didn’t understand how credit cards work, thought the expire date was a month and day, and didn’t even know if the room was upstairs or first floor) for the front desk to handle we just kept our flip flops and sweat pants on and cranked the AC to get some shut eye and the hell outta there in the early AM. I haven’t seen a state park vault toilet that was in worse condition than this room we got had paying for. Pick somewhere else. Anywhere else.

I liked the overall layout. Several seperate buildings, easy parking, good shade. The hotel has been here a while and needs updating. All was clean. Room needs more lighting. Outdoor chairs need cleaning. Tv remote apparently needs batteries, or maybe the tv didnt work.

Beautiful property! Very quiet, we were only one of three rooms rented for the weekend. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the river view. However the carpet has threadbare spots. They chair has holes worn in the arm rests. Had to shut the bathroom door so as not to hear the toilet running all night. The room where the ice machine is was so hot that the soda cans were blowing up inside the pop machine. This hotel needs someone to invest in it and restore it's once glory.

We ended up leaving after seeing our room and refunded our stay.

Filthy and Nasty

Hotel was very run-down and looked abandoned. After seeing the room, I left.

Checked in to my room and found dog feces smashed into the carpet.

Management wouldn’t fix our toilet, no towels in room or pool area. Tv wouldn’t work, management said deal with it or leave. Pool and hot tub filthy. Room extremely dirty, bed broke down. Had to sleep on top of the covers because it was so dirty. Front staff has no idea what they were doing. Said they were going to fix things and never did. Place should be shut down.

It is a quiet property with an attentive front desk, but the room was mot cleaned well, dirty windows and countertops
