Baymont by Wyndham Decatur

The room was dirty, had to go to Walmart to buy clean bedding because the hotel did not have enough staff to check in everyone and handle the house keeping. The check in staff was rude. Tub was dirty.

The bathroom sink drain was broken so it would not drain. Thankfully, it was just an overnight stay. Good for what we needed.

Stood in line for 2 hours at check in. Man and woman at front desk were possibly the rudest people I have encountered. They could not figure out how to get credit cards to work, so my dad ended up having to pay for his room and the $100 incidental fee in cash. We will never stay at a Baymont or Wyndham owned hotel again.

The best I can say is it was quiet. The sheets and towels were dingy, there was mildew on the bathtub mat, pee sprinkles in front of the toilet. The building showed signs of wear, but I wouldn't have minded that if someone gave the rooms a thorough cleaning.

It was great staying at this hotel always clean and always very nice staff everyone should come stay and see for themselves.. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a place to lay there head its safe it's right off the highway and there are plenty of restaurants around too choose from and the Mall is right across the street from the hotel so go ahead and give it a stay and enjoy your stay Thank you very much for always being so kind

Noone at the front desk multiple times! No towels in the bathroom. Called front desk, no answer twice. Third call got an answer and asked for towels. 40 minutes later left hotel and came back a few hours later and a single towel had been delivered to a room with two people in it. If their that stingy with providing clean towels makes me wonder what else are they skimping on.

I would no recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed there twice in one week. We were hoping for better results the second time, but it was even worse. We had difficulty checking in and then no hot water for awhile. Both time there was only one other party staying there. It was dark and creepy.

A lot of drama going on at this hotel. Took forever to check me in, and once I did get checked in the front desk lady didn’t accept my service dogs, even with proof, she immediately canceled my reservation. I had to call Expedia to get a refund, they stated the front desk lady thought my credentials for my service dog was fake, I am upset with this matter being an Army vet and having a difficult process with this hotel. Never have I had issues with my service dog or been treated like this at a hotel. Seems like the front desk lady is very strict and once something doesn’t go her way she tries kicking people out, as I was trying to check in she was calling the cops on another customer, and was also yelling at one of her workers. Even though the front desk lady gave me a difficult time, I’m glad I didn’t stay here seems like theirs to much drama here and it wouldn’t be a comfortable stay. It all worked out, I got room at the quality inn with no issues at all and no complaints. I would NEVER go back to this hotel or recommend anyone to stay here. I would rate this place at negative stars.

Oh man. This has to be one of the worst places i have stayed. Started with the parking lot not being plowed. Then there were no automatic doors. Getting in the door was a struggle. The check in was dumb and she took a copy of my cc. Why? I am sensitive to smells and this place has them all. It just goes on. What a mistake and never again.

The staff Mike are scamming people out of money. Rooms are filthy and dirty,asked several times for cleaning but left trash in the rooms. Horrible smells in the hallways. Police are called every day and night. Housekeeping staff does not clean or change sheets after guests. Terrible service and staff
