Baymont by Wyndham Decatur

Line of people waiting to check in. Took a long time. Seemed like everything was manually done on paper. First room assigned was not what we reserved. It was easily rectified, just seemed disorganized.

Its a little close to the Highway but not terrible. Easy to get to where we wanted to eat.

Very helpful team running this facility.

Check in took over a half hour. Only 1 person was there before me. Not friendly or apologetic. Rooms were still being cleaned at 9:30 pm when we arrived. Room itself was fine. If I hadn't already paid I would have left.

Registration process was grueling slow. They have difficulties finding our reservation. It takes about 10 min. per customer. There was a long line that went well into the night.(hours long lines). The king bed had a broken bedframe. Room smelled!! We had to change rooms and that room was a bit cleaner, but also smelled bad. We had to get Frebreze just to spend the night. Walls had stains from spit and buggers. Carpet is dirty. Our "buisness" chair was broken.

THIS WOULD GET A NEGATIVE REVIEW IF POSSIBLE. MOUSE POOP IN DESK DRAWER AND CORNER OF ROOM HAD 2 HOLES WHERE MICE HAD CHEWED THRU THE WALL WITH LOTS OF BUILDING MATERIALS ALL OVER FLOOR. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE COUNTY. INDIVIDUALLY OWNED SO DONT CALL WYNDHAM

Heater barely worked , sheets had dirty spots and cigarette burns in them , room not hardly clean, requested handicap accessible and it was not, blankets so worn out and thin it was barely a blanket ( the towels where actually thicker)

Check in process was slow. 1.5 hours to check in. Card reader wasn't working. Using paper filing system. Outdated systems. Once we were in our room, we were good to go.
