Hotel was a bit run down but very clean rooms and beds. Pool was small but clean and the staff where nice and professional. Best complementary breakfast I have seen in years.

We usually seek out Hampton Inn, as we did for this stay. Big Mistake. Hotel was not in line with Hampton Standards. Dirty. Mildew all over bathroom walls, hair in shower, cobwebs. No maid service. Asked for clean towels, were told after 1 am!??? Breakfast was thin, attendant would put out 2 muffins at a time and area was dirty. Rooms INCREDIBLY small...bathroom door hit the toilet seat. Parking a disaster as lot is shared with Clarion Hotel, not enough spots, parts were flooded and lights burnt out. We claimed the Diamond member spot as it was the only one available. We felt like this hampton was about to go under and we were on the sinking ship. We can say that as we've stayed at Hamptons across the country....And this was not at all what the brand represents.

This was probably the worst Hampton Inn we've ever stayed at. Incredibly small rooms, very cramped bathrooms....the bathroom door hits the toilet! Mildew in the bathrooms and bathroom was not cleaned. Was told there wasn't daily maid service, which was OK, but when I asked for clean towels at the end of our day, I was told it would be 1 am until I could get them! ????? Breakfast was woefully non-Hampton Inn standards. Horrible parking lot...not enough spaces, it's shared with the Clarion Inn, and we weren't about to park in the area with burnt out lights and flooding. There are several hotels in this same area...but I chose Hampton because I assumed the quality would be best. I was wrong. Book a different hotel.

I booked four rooms for me and my friends that were fishing in the area. I booked two of the four rooms to be handicapped accessible. Our booked dates were 5/17-5/19. When I arrived this evening the front desk attendant said” My manager wants me to tell you that we don’t have any handicapped rooms at this motel. I said I called here directly and reserved them. Then she alleged that no manager was on duty but she went in a back room to call him and came out and started that he said me and my party should leave. I had with me 7 Vietnam veterans , two of whom are handicapped because of injuries they received in combat. We went across the parking lot to the Clarion Inn. They were very accommodating. The Hampton Inn in Fairborn OH is not accommodating to handicapped veterans even though when you make your reservation they allege they have handicapped rooms. Overall the rudest folks I’ve ever been in contact with.

Old and rundown, and not very clean. Not what I would expect from a Hampton Inn.

We needed a nice place to stay near the Xenia area that also allowed our dog to stay with us. Thank you! Wish the Hampton Inn in Xenia was pet friendly as well.

Front desk man was nowhere to be found he would disappear for 20 or 30 minutes at a time we’re not answer the phones in the room. We put a request in to be in a joining rooms we also wanted to be next to each other we did have rooms next to each other but we had to walk down the hall. We are sisters that do not see each other except once a year

Bed was broken and we kept hitting on our legs on a bar sticking out. Scratched my daughter and she has a bruise. Told desk and they send up maintenance to fix it and all he did was basically pull out the middle support bar and then left another bar at the bottom sticking out the end on the other side along with the lining from the box spring strewn out along the floor beside the bed. Door didn’t shut unless you slam it or pull it hard behind you. Didn’t tell us we need to request housekeeping the day before it’s wanted so when we returned from our day we had no new clean towels or bath supplies, trash wasn’t removed or new trash bags. Had to ask counter for all this and toilet paper. Window moves and doesn’t fit right in the tracks…easily slides around and comes out and we were on second floor. I would be worried about small kids pushing on window. Room was right by the on-ramp to highway so hear cars speeding up ramp all the time. Asked for 2 extra blankets, they only gave us 1. Only good part of our stay was Debbie serving breakfast! She was the sweetest, and had nice little chats with everyone, promptly cleaned up dishes we were finished with before we had a chance to throw them away. She was very pleasant start to our morning.

This is a split review. Our first night was on the south side of the hotel and it was bad. It faced a big on ramp and the highway, and from 6am on it was impossible to sleep. The AC also worked poorly, and the room was too hot. We changed rooms to the north side and it was excellent. Quiet, cool, nice and dark. Bottom line if you're staying here, only do so if you can stay on the north side, even number rooms.
