The Pavement Palace

Gorgeous two night stay in the very centre of Hay on Wye. Host was fantastic, giving us all the details we needed about parking options etc before we arrived. A really lovely property, spotlessly clean and perfect location.

This accommodation is an entire apartment within a renovated building from the 1600's, which in itself is amazing. The kitchen is modern with all the conveniences: stove, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher etc... there is even a washer/dryer. It's located at the center of Hay on Wye, steps away from the bookstores, antiques and cafés and pubs.

Shabby sheikh appearance belies the details put into this property. Very comfortable

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. James was extremely helpful, providing clear directions and all the information we needed before and during our stay. His communication made everything so easy. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others

The location is fantastic! The place itself is beautiful and very charming. The bed is comfy and the facilities are clean and in good working order.

You are very close to the clock tower, which does go off throughout the night.

A lovely little gem right in the heart of town. Quirky and tastefully decorated. The host went out of his way to make us feel very welcome and was very responsive. I loved the Pavement Palace and would definitely book again!

Where do I begin we had a lovely stay at The Pavement palace it was the perfect home away from home. A true little palace in the centre of Hay-on-wye. The bed was really comfortable and the lounge was cosy for reading the many books purchased here. We'd love to come again.
