The Pavement Palace

My friends who were staying here absolutely loved the apartment. So much so, they told me they'd love to move in! A huge thank you to James for enabling them to stay and for a beautiful, so well-equipped, perfectly situated apartment. James is a brilliant host, excellent in communication before and during the stay and so kind and helpful. My friends were really grateful for his thoughtfulness. We'd love to highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Hay-on-Wye.

There was nothing to dislike.

A beautiful apartment in a period property right in the heart of the town. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable.

Amazing central location across from a lovely place to get food and right by all the shops and pubs. Really lovely well looked after property. Absolutely fabulous.

No suggestions, perfect place.

It was very cozy, the location was very good - it was very central - basically everything was easily accessible within a few minutes by foot. The apartment was very clean. You get two floors and considering the size and everything else it's rather cheap. There is a bathtub and a fireplace as well which are really nice bonuses. The owner is also very friendly, we met him when checking out.

Sometimes the wifi didn't work on my laptop but this was just a very minor issue.

A beautiful cosy apartment above an antique shop in the centre of this delightful little town. It instantly feels like the home you've always wanted with a comfy sofa in the beamed , spacious living room and the king sized antique bed with a little water closet in the cupboard. Charming in every sense, well equipped, great heating, a fabulous huge bath with a rain showerhead ....I could go on, and on. Booked for the 3rd year in a row.

Located right in the heart of the town, such a lovely old building full of character - honestly the photos don’t do it justice, we absolutely loved it.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of everything. Parking was provided. The property itself was charming. A thoroughly pleasant experience.
