Unique. Excellent location and tastefully decorated.

Great location in the centre of Hay. Well equipped character property with spacious lounge and bedroom. Ensuite is pretty much a toilet in a cupboard and not really useable during the night without waking up partners. Bed was very comfortable and there was little not to like.

Just about nothing bar the ensuite toilet.

This is a lovely lovely little gem of a place right in the centre of Hay on Wye. It's got a lovely country French shabby chic vibe going on that really works and the bed is more comfortable than the one I have at home. Loved everything about it. You do need to be able to use stairs as the living space is mainly on the first floor. Kitchen is small but perfectly formed with everything you need. Right opposite is a deli and you are walking distance to all the wonderful book shops. We were lucky enough to be there during some spectacular weather so had the windows open and really felt part of the town vibe, especially when the Thursday market was on. Recommend Chapters for a fabulous local restaurant. Book this place, it's fab.

Comfortable and roomy accommodation, with a full kitchen and generous sitting room as well as bedroom; excellent location in the centre of town; satisfactory free parking arrangements, given that long-term free parking is not possible in the very centre of Hay; high quality wifi; attentive host who answered questions rapidly by text.

Inevitably, accommodation of such quality in such an excellent location in a popular town is not going to be the cheapest - but one certainly got what one paid for. Cutlery might have run short if over two people were staying (this would be possible with a couple and use of the sofa bed in the main room).

The location was great. Spacious and clean. Had everything we needed.

Two front door keys would have been handy. The handle of the toilet door upstairs was broken although that didn't matter too much as it was only me in the bedroom.

The location, the decor, well equipped and relaxing despite being in the heart of Hay on Wye.

It's stunningly beautiful and decorated brilliantly but a side view of me sitting on the loo in the massive mirrored wall was quite disturbing! But that's not a fault on the property, its just me!!! 🤣🤣
