"Perfect in every way"

What a fantastic apartment and location. The communication from our host was great. The facilities were awesome. As for the town, what a great place to stay. Will be back.

"Cosy and comfy accomodation in the middle of Hay"

Perfect location, charming characterful property, very comfortable and well equipped, self check in.

As we stayed in December a few Christmas decorations or fairy lights would have added to the cosy feel. A bit more wood for the log burner would have been good as we didn't have a car to go and buy more.

"Exceptional"

The perfect combination of character and comfort, the Pavement Palace is an absolute gem. Located above an antique shop right in the centre of this wonderful town renowned for its book festival and independent shops, a stay here makes you feel like you're living the life of a Hay resident. Superb directions, check in information and instant response all resulted in a stress free stay whilst attending an event at Hay Castle 100 yards away. Fabulous .

"A perfect place to cosy up."

It's an absolutely perfect place to stay. We have been many times - it's so good we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Hay. Perfect location, incredibly comfy, beautifully presented, easy to communicate with the owner. What's not to love!

"Charming apartment, cozy, great location"

Location behind the clocktower was perfectly on the center of town. The unit itself was furnished beautifully in a restored historic building with exposed beams… Sitting by the wood-burning stove in the evenings was the perfect touch!

Everything! The property was so well kept and stunning, hidden away in a little alley next to book shops and it all felt safe and comfortable.
