Butler House

lovely building right on edge of the centre but not in the middle which is perfect given how busy the actual centre is. The public rooms are gorgeous and look out on to a beautiful garden which had lots of tulips when we were there but will have many peonies later in spring. Our bedroom was spacious and well heated - it was a little chilly when we arrived but warmed up nicely. The lift is a bonus as we were on the top floor so access was easy.

Our room was a little dated with curtains and furniture that did not really go with the lovely georgian building (unlike in all the public spaces which are beautifully furnished - which sets a certain expectation!). The bathroom was immaculately clean but could do with an update. Plug sockets are a big hard to get at for hair dryers and chargers.

Close to centre city. Great breakfast with beautiful views of gardens.

No moisture cream in bathroom.

Butler House is a lovely place to stay. In the centre of town, everything is on the doorstep. Very welcoming and friendly staff

Loved Bulter House. I changed my plans so we could stay here and it didn't disappoint. The parking was easy and included, the room was lovely and the breakfast was amazing. I truly lovely stay.

L’emplacement est super avec des jardins magnifiques qui mènent au château de Kilkenny. Les chambres sont très cosy avec de très bonnes literies. Et surtout le personnel est très sympathique et à l’écoute, tant la dame de la réception comme les personnes qui servent le petit déjeuner. Vraiment une adresse à recommander.
