Villa Cua

We were very pleased with our choice of accommodation in Ercolano as Villa Cua provided us with a very nice room and bathroom. The room was also spotless with a good TV and the check in with staff was friendly and useful for information about the area and local transport. We had great views of Vesuvius from our window and we liked the free breakfast service of croissant and coffee at the café across the road. Ercolano had the bustle and vibes of an authentic Southern Italian town which we really liked - there were good restaurants close by; Herculaneum was only a two minute walk away and the train station (for Naples. Pompeii and Sorento) and Vesuvius Express bus was only ten minutes from our apartment. Villa Cua is the perfect place to enjoy the region at a very reasonable price.

There are a number of stairs to the apartment which we had to climb regularly and the street and traffic noise outside was constant even in the middle of the night - however previous reviews of Villa Cua had highlighted these issues so we didn't let it bother us.

The hotel was in a fantastic location for Ercolano. The host Salvatore was ever so friendly and helpful, he really went above and beyond for us. The room was tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Quiet room due to the good quality windows and doors.

Wifi signal was a little temperamental

We stayed one night in villa cua in Ercolano. It’s like a mini hotel in an old building. The owners are friendly, communicative and attentive. We payed a small fee for private parking which felt secure and was located a short walk from where we lived. Our room had a double bed and a sofa bed, a baby cot was also provided upon request. For what you get it’s very affordable. All in all we can highly recommend Villa cua if you’re staying in Ercolano.

Nothing better

I have only praise for our stay. Especially for the host Salvatore. Excellent accommodation, great location, high level of cleanliness. We will definitely come back again.

A closet for the clothes would come handy.

Excellent location, a mere stone's throw away from Herculaneum Ruins. Our room was spacious, immaculate, with a lovely little balcony overlooking the sea. Salvatore was an exceptional host- welcoming, hands-on, ensuring we were satisfied throughout our stay, and pretty much ready to assist us at any point. Highly recommended, and definitely on a list for a follow-up visit.

Very hospitable staff, who showed and told where to eat deliciously and how to get to the sights. Great view of the volcano from the window.

Villa Cua is in a cool old building, conveniently located to public transit. It was comfortable and clean. Despite being located on a fairly busy street, we slept well thanks to the good quality windows and doors. The hosts were professional and very responsive.
