CHDer Herr in der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Die nähe zum Bahnhof (12min zu Fuss)
Das Frühstück war sehr bescheiden (immer die gleichen Brote und am Sonntag nur Halbweissbrot, Fleisch immer nur Trutenbrust und Salami. Foto vom Speisesaal stimmen nicht mit dem jetzigen Zustand überein.
DEDas Frühstück war etwas eintönig.
DEBig room, cool despite heat outside. Located directly in the city center. Historic building. Staff international and very friendly. Daily room service.
Nothing to complain. It is really a great place to stay. Parking is on a public parking lot. It costs typically 2 CHF if you arrive in late afternoon and leave in the morning after breakfast, so it is very cheap.

Man fühlte sich nit so richtig aufgenommen. Niemand hat mal nachgefragt ob alles okay ist.

Breakfast was not my favorite choice,bread but no toaster,nothing hot,no pastries. No fridge in the room,no kettle for tea.
CHEs gab ein Problem mit der Ventilation. Durch die Ventilator-Abdeckung im Badezimmer kam ein äusserst starker, widerlicher Gestank nach Zigaretten und Abfall. Es war nur einigermassen möglich mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen. Die Autos auf dieser Seite des Hotels sind aber sehr laut und es wird die ganze Nacht gefahren. Durch das Kopfsteinpflaster schallt es extrem. Ich habe extra Ohrenstöpsel für solche Fälle, aber man hört es trotzdem + in Kombination mit dem Gestank war es eine schreckliche Nacht. Am nächsten Tag habe ich die Leitung kontaktiert, sie war übers Wochenende weg - nicht meine Schuld - und war bereits sauer deswegen. Sie gab mir ein anderes Zimmer, ich habe darauf bestanden diese eine Nacht nicht bezahlen zu müssen. Sie hat eingewilligt und hat mir versprochen sich am Montag um die Erstattung zu kümmern. Nun, es ist dann 2 Wochen nichts passiert, und als ich nachgefragt habe hiess es man würde grundsätzlich nichts erstatten. Ich kann nur eine gratis Nacht haben, muss dafür aber 3 Nächte buchen. So viel zum Thema.

USBeautiful location. The premise of the Gästehaus (to help refuges and asylum seekers) is wonderful. Comfortable beds. Large room. Room cleaned daily. Shampoo/body wash and towels provided.
Gästehaus direkt oberhalb vom Stockalperschloss und der Altstadt mit vielen Restaurants. Viel Platz im Zimmer mit allem drum und dran inkl. Frühstücksbuffet. Ruhig gelegen und Parkplätze etwas oberhalb oder im nahen Altstadtparkhaus.
