The setting is peaceful and scenic. The library was a lovely surprise with a good collection of books. We enjoyed spotting wildlife around the grounds. Some moments were genuinely relaxing.

The private pool in the Tri Villa didn’t work properly the entire stay, despite reporting it. We were also overcharged for food even though the menu said tax and service charge were included. Slow response to issues, poor maintenance (lights not working, sockets failing), and the checkout experience left a bad final impression.

Really beautiful design and layout. The pool is just fabulous- not very clean though

Started the day beautifully around late afternoon when we checked into the water tower rooms. The location and pool are spectacular. Then it rained and things went haywire. We were bitten by bugs or ants through the night in the higher room of the water tower. Finally woke up and stayed awake from 225 am till late morning. My daughter had red bites all over her body and I had them all over my chin. Staff on duty were helpful with ointment and some sandwiches but overall having spent 247 USD for one night stay for 2 and a small dinner I would've preferred not to be bitten. No refund was offered.

Currently writing this review from Tri's gorgeous library as we wait for our lift to the airport and could not be sadder to be leaving! This was the final destination on our 2-week Sri Lankan honeymoon and was booked last minute after we decided against our original hotel due to some concerning reviews. We are SO glad to have ended up at Tri. It is a pure paradise with exceptional staff, stunning rooms, beautiful grounds and delicious food. We loved the focus on sustainability and integration with nature - there are no plastic bottles or TVs in the rooms here! Our entire stay has been a dream; full of beautiful scenery, luxurious massages, and delicious food, and has ensured we will be (reluctantly) returning home relaxed and rejuvenated. We cannot wait to stay here again in the future!!!

Impossible to dislike anything about this place!!! (The road to the resort is a bit narrow and bumpy so just make sure you/your driver is careful!)
