"Underwhelming for the amount of money spent over 2 days."

The site is a beautiful place, very tranquil and room had an amazing view of the jungle and lake.

The service was extremely poor - waiting hours for food and orders getting forgotten. The food left a lot to be desired, it felt like Tri was caught in between keeping Sri Lanka roots (which we loved) and trying to westernise the food so it became a little bit mixed up.

"If you want to relax, book it for couple days!"

If you want to rest, this is the hidden gem for you. The location was amazing for relaxing. Rooms are decorated very well.

The restaurant is the area that they need to improve. We ordered lunch and it was one of the worst foods that we tried in Sri Lanka. The restaurant & food quality should be improved for a place like this.

This hotel is one of a kind, the staff is incredible, the views out of this world! The room was honestly my favourite of any place I’ve stayed in all my travels. Clearly next level design and architecture in a very subtle and tasteful way. The spa treatment was wonderful and the cooking class under the banyan tree was magical. I wish I had stayed longer and definitely will next time I am back. I can’t express how fantastic this hotel is thank you for making us feel like home ❤️

"Sensational!!!"

Beautiful views of the lake. Even able to take a boat ride if you wished too. Rooms were spacious and had its own pool. Very comfortable and luxurious. The staff went above and beyond for me. They surprised with an amazing birthday cake following my amazing Sri Lankan dinner which I was not expecting. This was due to me mentioning i was there as a birthday gift to myself. I felt so comfortable travelling there solo as a woman. Highly recommend this hotel. Loved the little library and peacocks on site. Even saw a crocodile pass in the lake.

beautiful hotel, serounded by an amazing nature Lake villa was fabulous stuff were welcoming and friendly, took care for everything

location is far from restaurants (not a bad thing but take this into account)
