"Beautiful stay in Kyoto"

Such a beautiful stay here! Nearby bus stops which were very useful during our stay. The house itself is nicely appointed, very good aircon and very clean. Beautiful amenities as well.

The one thing I would be mindful of is the toilet space for people on the taller side. It is quite limited however I am 175cm and still fit comfortably.

"We had a nice peaceful stay."

We liked the location. The toilet being in a separate room. It was a very beautiful place with a peaceful patio area.

There was no space to keep luggage.

All the negative reviews are true, however… key pickup is near the train station, while the cabins are about a 20–30 minute walk away. A free taxi is provided, (we didn’t use it because we didn’t want to lose time between arrival and check-in). The staff were very kind and friendly. We were offered luggage storage, and our bags were later delivered directly to the accommodation. At check-in, you can ask for additional toiletries (bath salts, etc.). The cabin provides the basic essentials. A comfortable, compact bathroom that is practical and truly pleasant. Perfect relaxation in a tasteful, round bathtub with a view of a small inner garden. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi, which was fixed the next day. The space is small, very small. Ideal for a short stay focused on sightseeing and sleeping.

Cleanliness was the main issue and unfortunately it was unacceptable. We were greeted by a thick layer of dust and a toilet that smelled strongly of urine. We were disappointed and contacted the host. We were apologized to and cleaners were sent. This was quite inconvenient for us. Wi-Fi repairs in the morning, followed by cleaning later on. This situation should not have happened. The futons should be replaced. They are really thin and uncomfortable. We will definitely not book this place again.
