Hotel Vista Sierra

This is now the hotel Vista Sierra. Still part of Marriott Bonvoy. Really nice property with modern touches especially gathering places in the lobby. Props to Juliana - one of the managers who recognized my platinum status and upgraded us without having to ask. More important, Juliana has the heart for hospitality, which was evident in how she interacted with all guests. Nice spot in Auburn for those needing a hotel!

We had a great weekend. Rooms were nice along with the pool and lobby. Juliana (Jules) was a great help. She brings the energy. The E bikes are great as well.

Great hotel however you can feel the springs in the bed

5 Stars I stayed here while in town for a wedding. It was my first time in Auburn. The hotel is clean, modern, and clearly well-maintained. The room I had was surprisingly spacious. Both the bedroom and bathroom felt bigger than what I’m used to. The views are great, and there’s a really nice pool area that I could honestly spend the whole day relaxing in. There’s also a hot tub and a small grassy area that would be great for kids or just hanging out. What really stood out, though, was the front desk service. Juliana checked me in and she was outstanding. Warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. She gave great local tips and made the check-in experience feel personal. I’ve stayed at plenty of high-end properties, and her customer service was one of the more memorable experiences I’ve had. All in all, this place is a great value for the quality you get. It has high-end touches at a much more reasonable price point. I would definitely stay here again.

I needed to cancel my reservation & had a frustrating experience with A.I. which answered the main phone number. I was part of a block of rooms and the A.I. told me to go online or use the App to cancel then cut off my call, so I wasn't able to continue. Well, I had no availability to cancel on line even after I activated an account to manage my account. I called the main # again and requested an "operator" and was connected with JULIANA. She totally turned my frustrated mood around with her PLEASANT and PROFESSIONAL interaction. She was supportive and helped me cancel the reservation. I hope management at Hotel Vista Sierra appreciate her :-) I do!

Love this hotel! We stay here often and are always impressed! Jules at the front desk made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to help us! We can’t wait to come back!

We were very impressed with this hotel during our 1-night stay. The location is very handy, just off the main highway and close to lots of stores, restaurants, and service stations. I loved the hilltop location which provided decent views over the surrounding countryside. Our room was huge, complete with a large sitting area and plenty of storage space – plenty of room to spread out. We had a small fridge, microwave and a good AC unit. Everything was clean, modern, comfortable, and well-maintained. The included breakfast was excellent with plenty of hot and cold dishes and the option of sitting outside in the warm sunshine. We made use of the small gym and found it to be basic but smartly equipped with a few treadmills, a multigym, and complete set of dumbbells – just enough for a good weights workout. My only complaint is that we were surprised that we had to pay an extra fee for parking or resort fee or something – this should just be included in the price of the hotel room as everyone arrives by car!! We find this to be a deceitful and unacceptable business practice - disappointing as it ruined an otherwise excellent stay. If it weren't for this, I would've scored it a "5". Other than that, we had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.
