Showcase Apartments - Highcross House Apart Hotel

It's awful. The fob didn't work so I was standing around outside on the street for 15 minutes waiting for the owner to drive down to meet me (he hadn't arrived after 15 minutes, luckily 3 people left the building so I could get in). I realised when I was in the shower there were NO towels in the bathroom or entire apartment. I got a smaller studio apartment than the one I booked. The communal areas are really grubby/dirty - drugs pellets all over the place in the morning from the previous nights antics. Unless you are a student or a druggy, don't stay here.

The stay was ok, clean and comfortable but was disappointed I lost my security deposit. The Showcase Apartments emailed me to say that I broke a chair. I asked them to send a picture of the chair because I know II did not break the chair. They said the chair had been put into the skip, so I never got to see the damaged chair, I guess I’m suppose to take their word. Be aware when you stay at Showcase Apartments you may not get your security returned. I won’t stay there again.

Room had no window other than a skylight directly over the bed. Which was overlooked by flats above and had no blind. The room was dark. The bathroom very small, with a shower fitting that was in poor working order. It was however cheap, and clean, and centrally located.

Info said to contact with a time of arrival but they don’t answer the phone. Great location but a bit noisy. Warm room with no cooling fan. No towels to have a shower. Room was comfortable and had amenities needed. Staff were helpful when checking in.

Very nice & pleasant stay, right next to city centre, goid parking facilities.. Customer service was excellent.. the only thing i didnt like was to pay £100 deposit i understand the reasons why it had to be paid.. i honestly think the deposit should be £50 more affordable to people.. will use and stay again

Affordable for the size and area, no hangers for clothes, no dishwasher, no body wash gel.
