Kalamazoo Hotel

This is the worst Hotel I have ever set foot in. We booked it because it was cheap. When we pulled in there was a mini van on a jack with a tire off that looked like it had been there a long time. The lobby when we walked in looked disheveled. The elevator mad noises and smelled aweful. There were ceiling tiles in the hall missing. In the room the room there were blood stains on the carpet, the mattress was ripped. The was hair on the pillows. The tub was dirty. The cabinets in the bathroom were falling apart. We left our rooms and no one was at the front desk. We booked rooms at the Hilton across town. When we called back they tried to say we ripped the mattress and were not issued refunds. This place is a scam, and the most disgusting indoor building I've ever stepped foot in.

This place was horrible we were looking for a cheap place to stay but not worth the savings. Ended up not staying and gave up the money we spent. Nasty!

Great location

Not a good idea for traveling alone Needs serious updating

Everything was perfect

The location was close to our destinations on this trip. The room was what we expected for what we paid for.

Only one light fixture was working. The light on the desk had no bulb, the bedside lamp could not be plugged in because the plug was behind the bed and the boxspring would not allow the light to be plugged in. The only working lamp was a floor lamp between one of the beds and the wall. When we went down for breakfast, there was one scoop of scrambled eggs left, no batter for waffles. I don't know if there was supposed to be biscuits and gravy, but there wasn't any.

Got a bug bite in the middle of the night.

This hotel is horrible. It smells, my door didn’t lock, it was noisy, the water doesn’t get hot, the air doesn’t get cool. The refrigerator doesn’t get cool. The bed was squeaky. Shady characters hanging in the parking lot.

The photos do not do this property’s poor condition justice. These don’t not belong to this property at all. It should be known this is a hotel for people and family who live there as well. We checked in and had issues with our room key 3 times, each time getting a key that didn’t work. The receptionist felt was inconvenienced by this, as she couldn’t resume her chat with the delivery person. The room however was decent, clean and fine for that one night we stayed. Given the condition of this hotel that was surprising though. The hallway walls have holes in them, water damage and dirty rotting walls. Everything was dingy, dirty, smelly in the hallways, lobby and elevator. It’s cheap, and we figured out why.
