Kalamazoo Hotel

During my recent stay at this Wyndham property, I encountered several concerning issues that significantly impacted my experience. Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by an unpleasant and musty odor. The sink produced rusty water, and the toilet required multiple flushes to function properly. Additionally, the door's security seemed compromised, raising safety concerns. I attempted to contact customer service at Bookings through the website but was unable to speak with a representative until after 6 PM. When I finally connected with staff, I explained my reservations and requested to cancel the booking and receive a refund. The Bookings representative was unable to reach the hotel, and the staff's response was incomplete, leaving my concerns unaddressed. Upon returning to the hotel, no one was at the desk. We went to our room, got our things, and I wrote a quick note of my concerns and dropped it off at the front desk. The girl was there servicing other people. As a frequent Wyndham guest, I had higher expectations for this property, which unfortunately were not met during this visit. It should definitely not be rated a three.

We had to change our room due to leakage. The new room was smaller. No refund or compensation for the inconvenience offered. Blah…..

i enjoyed spending a night alone WIFE FOR ANNIVERSARY. WOULD HAVE STADED LONGER BUT TV RECEPTION IS REALY BAD...THATS HE ONLY PROBLEM I FOND WRONG WITH THIS HOTEL...

Carpet seemed damp, hot water was not

Newly renovated rooms in an old property. Some bench and green areas around the parking lot to walk the dog. They even have a couple of BBQ pits there. Room was clean, bed was great. Bathroom was spotless clean. There was a leak on the sink, and the microwave was missing the turntable dish, management should try keeping up with maintenance. The TV was great and lighting and general functionalities of the room were up to standard. The A/C although a bit loud worked perfectly. Quiet aisle near the elevator on the 4th floor. Breakfast doesn’t have a lot of hot options, just dairy, toast, waffle maker (no eggs, sausages, etc. ). Staff was diligent and courteous. Nice area around, not walkable but good access to local businesses and highway

We shiukd have kniw by the price that this place was gonna be questionable, but the pictures online showed clean and outdated rooms. That was not the case. Our room had the front cover from the air conditioning unit laying on the ground as we walked in. We pulled the covers back on the bed and found black curly hairs on the sheets. Several red colored stains on the carpet. Trim peeling off walls. Musty smell. Hallway walls had holes throughout showing exposed plumbing and ceiling tiles in hallway were missing. Not to mention the broken down minivan sitting in the closest spot to front door that was on jack stands with a wheel off and weeds growing around it. Highly dont recomend this place. We were only there for 10 minustes before we decided to leave and get a better room somewhere else. There was only one person working and they were not at front desk when we left to tell them about the rooms...we had 3 rooms. The iwned ebded up calling me and acusing me of actually sleeping there and denied my refund. Shut it down and rebuild!

It was affordable and the staff was very helpful, friendly and professional.
