The staff was very nice and helpful.

Apparently without our knowledge, we were “upgraded” to a luxury suite that had some weird little tub with a curtain surround. There was no way to get a good shower. On top of that, because we were “upgraded” without our knowledge, instead of the second floor room with a walk-in shower, we had a first floor room, right on the street. It was incredibly noisy with the bar next door emptying cans of bottles or something. If this was a hotel 8 that would be ok, but this was a pricey room.

Worst restaurant experience, maybe in my life. To start, after winning a long time for the bottle of wine, we ordered, the $80 bottle of wine, the least expensive wine on the menu, we learned that that wine was no longer available. After waiting another eternity, the server arrived with the bottle of wine already opened And not offering us the opportunity to taste the wine before pouring into our glasses. While pouring into our glasses, the wine spilled onto our table and the server made no attempt to wipe it up. After waiting a long time it was finally wiped up. We had ordered with the wine, some bread and butter, which never came. The appetizer muscles was delicious, if parsimonious. There were nine muscles for $20, which made each of the nine muscles costing more than two dollars. We ordered the duck. The duck arrived overcooked, tough, and bland. All the food on the plate was tepid. The potato cake was cold and oily. When the bill arrived, we noticed that the price for the duck on the check was more expensive than on the menu. We pointed this out to the staff who gave us a new check with the correct amount. When we said that it was really not cool Too overcharge for lousy food, the server said “you have no idea“. Earlier in the meal, I was tempted to just get up and leave, but didn’t. The mail came to close to $200. And I forgot to mention that the $80 bottle of wine was mediocre at best. Most Box wines are superior to what we were served. Very, very, very disappointing.

We walked in off the street in a rainstorm and made a fantastic discovery.. The staff was fantastic and went out of their way to accommodate us. Each room is uniquely designed and we loved the historic location. Breakfast was included and very pleasant. It is so refreshing to get away from the generic chain franchise. And I liked the fireplace and books in the restaurant area. Very walkable to restaurants and shops.

Cool location and vibe, comfortable beds, nice design, great restaurant and bar.

No elevator so had to carry bags up a flight of stairs

This hotel was a great surprise. It’s a true boutique hotel exquisitely decorated. The room that we had was very large with a nice chimney and a beautiful bathroom. The salon adjacent to our room was lovely. The breakfast room is very quaint and the buffet breakfast is very good. Most of the rooms are scattered in the town in historic houses. No elevator so it’s not for everyone.

The room was beautiful and the staff was lovely.

Super cute, charming and clean. The rooms and common spaces were well decorated and bathrooms had quality fixtures and showers. Bed was comfortable, the gym was small but sufficient. Morning coffee in the lounge was a nice touch. We skipped the continental breakfast since it wasn’t substantial enough, but that’s a personal preference. Had a hard time regulating the temperature of our room. Unfortunately no water was provided in the room, no robe and no slippers even though it’s listed as a feature of the hotel.
