Hotel Kinsley, a Member of Design Hotels

Strange check in at the restaurant , room down the block, stairs no elevator. Morning breakfast completely ignored by staff - didn’t even look at us . Way overpriced .

Had a weekend getaway with my partner and we loved our stay at the hotel Kinsley. Check in was short and sweet Room was perfect. Super comfy bed/ pillows Lovely clean bathroom and a nice aesthetic. Mini fridge in room with goodies for purchase. Enjoyed our cocktails at the bar. Fantastic bartender - Carlos. Met some other friendly folks as well. It felt cozy all around. The breakfast was the only meal we had there and it fit our needs perfectly. Fresh fruit/ HB eggs/ an assortment of breads & muffins as well as yogurt and granola. My only issue was the sauna situation. We arrived for our reserved time and it had not been cleaned up from previous guests. No towels except a few on the floor and the room was FREEZING which made the entire experience so strange. We waited for the actual sauna to heat up but the Florescent lighting along with the frigid temp of the room made it very uncomfortable. I think it actually never heat up and we ended up leaving. My boyfriend went down to ask for some assistance and didn’t get anywhere. This was a bummer as we were looking forward to it. Would be awesome if there was some kind of valet. There isn’t a garage so we just parked a few blocks away which was closer than where they suggest parking but we’re had to e before the meter.

There was no elevator and we were on the third floor. Made it difficult to carry bags up 3 flights of stairs.

The room with the two double beds was large. The queen was nicely designed. Breakfast was decent and dining area nicely designed. Staff were nice and everything was very clean. Location was great.

Our room was located in a different building to our other guests and also away from our parking. everything was pleasant but pretty basic for the price we paid

loved the style of the rooms, the location is fantastic - walkable to so much, rooms were clean, staff delightful. I had a wonderful lunch when I arrived and enjoyed that the space felt like both a restaurant and a place I coudl hang out and read in for a while. I appreciated the continental breakfast - and the offer to take something back to my room or to go.

a little more variety of milk and bread choices at breakfast. loved my room, but maybe felt pads for the feet of the furniture in the room above mine.

Love the decor and how comfortable it was. Loved the separate buildings too, it was different, very cool.

Beautiful space in a bucolic downtown. Walkable to all properties.

The mattress itself was a little uncomfortable

Very poor experience. Noisy rooms, do not match pictures on the website. Poor customer service - hard to reach as the main hotel is a different building to where you may stay. Overall highly overpriced and misrepresented vs. when you book, avoid this hotel.
