The room appointments were fun and original. Even the squeaky stairs were fun, providing one was able to climb them with baggage. Best of all Le Canard bistro was next door.

The breakfast was a disappointment. Fresh coffee, cups, butter etc were hard to find. The bread was cut too thick for the toaster and a bread knife could not be found.

Multiple buildings - no guarantee which one you'll be placed in until you check in. Continental breakfast could use work - would prefer some hot food options but still appreciated it! Cleaning could use some work - found some hairs from previous guests still lingering in the bedroom upon check-in.

The location is fabulous. Right in the heart of downtown Kingston near everything. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant was delicious. I loved the shampoo, soaps and lotion, and in the bathroom was clean and bright.the part that was a little bit challenging was that my colleagues room was in a completely different building over a block away, and it was hard to find in the night. It also didn’t feel as secure as the main building.

The breakfast was very basic, the room was in a remote building on the 3rd floor no elevator, parking was not next door. All in all I expected alot more for over $600 per night...

Loved the neighborhood and the classy yet relaxed atmosphere of the multi building hotel.

Stylish and cozy hotel that was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Hotel Kinsley is right in the heart of a vibrant town, the rooms were clean and spacious. Best of all, they’re pet-friendly! Highly recommend for travelers with or without pets!

Spacious room in an architecturally interesting building. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We especially loved the renovated bathroom, big shower with multiple shower heads (my husband said it was the best shower of his life), and the well-lit closet space. We also enjoyed the breakfast-- good, simple food served in an elegant and quiet dining room. Great way to start the day.

Tiny gripes: I wish they had robes in the rooms, and a few more drawers or other places to put things. There is a lack of convenient outlets in the room-- we had trouble finding places to plug things in.

When arriving at reception I found I was being placed in an apartment block 4 blocks down the road. I arrived late and in the dark I struggled to find the block. I expressed I wanted a lower floor room and I was placed on the top floor, travelling for work with heavy bags caused some discomfort for me. I expressed I suffer from an illness which causes joint pain however I was not given options to have a lower floor room. Breakfast was a cold breakfast and for the price of the hotel I would have expected more choice and a cooked warm breakfast. No water available in apartment block other than buying from the mini bar. Cost outweighs the standard.

Old building renovation nicely appointed. Was not a fan of the tub/shower. Made showering a little difficult.

I stayed at the wall st location strictly for the walkability to my favorite restaurants. I checked in late and the staff was pleasant but not very informative. I discovered the continental breakfast the next morning when I asked about coffee at the check in desk. As a Kingston local, this hotel is clearly designed for the tourist (nyc) crowd. I will always support small bussiness but the price I paid did not warrant the room, hotel or service. The carpet was stained going up the stairs to my room and the “happy hour” bar prices were equal to the standard bar prices at other nearby locations. My room had 2 outlets, one which was full with a power strip. I appreciate historical charm so I survived without a coffee maker or microwave in my room but the mini bar of snacks that took up half of the only counter space in the room and the entire mini fridge was disappointing. The bathroom was beautiful but also had no counter space and a slim shelf above the sink which did not hold all of my toiletries. As I stated above, I just recently moved out of the Kingston location and it was very clear why I had never been to the Kingsley before. I have also stayed in another local (very close in location) hotel which was a chain but a third of the price. I don’t think I’d stay here again
