Molly Pitcher Inn

We had attended the Happy Together Concert and were able to walk to The Molly Pitcher Inn. The location is walkable to many sights in Redbank. The rooms could use some updating, but they were clean and comfortable. The pool was very relaxing, and we were given complimentary champagne and petit fours to celebrate our anniversary. I would definitely return.

An unexpected treasure! We arrived early to enjoy the outdoor pool on a beautiful summer day. The pool is right on the river/marina. Waitress service food and beverage made for a relaxing day. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful. We also enjoyed spending time in the common areas and enjoying the view.

We loved this place. We had a king garden room which was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. We had breakfast one morning and it was fine. There was coffee and muffins available in the lounge each morning. All staff were polite and friendly. It was busy with functions most days and evenings that we were there and the car park was pretty full but we found a space each time that we returned. It was pricey but we can understand why.

We got a room with one bed and the view was on the roof where the AC-units were located. Bit of a shame. The bathroom could do with an upgrade.

There is a lot to like about this property. It's lovely with classic charm. The pool is the absolute highlight. It's a good size with plenty of lounge chairs, poolside service, and a walk-up bar, and we had it all to ourselves for a bit on Saturday morning. The complimentary muffins in the morning are a nice touch (though they should offer iced and not just hot coffee in the summer!). The view from the restaurant's outdoor seating and the pool area is gorgeous.

We were in a tiny room with a small bed, ugly A/C roof view, and a clogged toilet. The rooms are not very soundproof and you can hear every little noise in the hall. Despite all of that, I still feel like it was a good value for the location. The low point of our stay was at the restaurant. We ate there partly out of convenience because we had a concert to get to. It took over an hour to get appetizers (no one even offered bread or another drink after they took the initial drink orders; I had to ask for bread...again, after an hour). The appetizers were both pretty gross (fried green tomatoes with crab and zucchini flower fritters, which were more like regular pancakes with chopped tomatoes on top). The entrees were good, but everything came out almost at the same time, and we were rushing because we had to get to our show, so we couldn't really enjoy anything. What should have been a leisurely meal was a very negative experience. After all of the inconvenience, they only comped one $8 beer. There was a rehearsal dinner happening that night which I'm sure accounted for the kitchen getting backed up, but they need to plan accordingly.

Stayed for a conference and had a great time. The hotel is beautiful and historic with a lot of charm and very well kept. It was pristine and nicely decorated.

The rooms were a bit small as well as the bed. There could be some noise from other rooms.

The wedding we attended was exceptionally well done. The venue, service and food were all top notch.
