Molly Pitcher Inn

Staff was friendly and responsivel, went above and beyond to try to resolve multiple issues. Restaurant: very good food and beautiful view. Complimentary fresh baked muffins and coffee until 10:00 am.

Rooms are small and can definitely use a refresh. One night, loud music was coming through a hallway speaker near my room the entire night and the night staff couldn't figure out how to turn it off. It was finally turned off the next morning.

First the positives: The restaurant food and service is very good. Front desk staff too are attentive and professional. The negatives: Unfortunately far too many: The walls in the rooms are wafer thin and one can hear just about any sound emanating from the room next door and even worse from the corridor. The rooms are way too small for a resort with a single outlet for charging devices. The less said about the bathroom the better - no place to hang clothes, toilet that is from 1950s, Parking lot tends to get filled up with attendees for local events.

Very tired looking. Wallpaper in room peeling. Pain was peeling off and rust on door hinges. I had to climb on bath tub to reach ( with difficulty) towels. I moved the bedside table to use plug- definitely had not been clean.

Paid $325 to stay at the Molly Pitcher Inn and expected more. The room was extremely noisy—thin walls meant elevator and outside noise kept me awake most of the night. The front desk response was disappointing, suggesting I should’ve switched rooms earlier rather than acknowledging the issue. They did provide 20% off and a breakfast voucher, which helped. On the positive side, breakfast, staff, and the river view were very nice. Still, rooms like this shouldn’t be assigned at this price point.

We were by the stairs and could hear the very loud music from the lobby all night, which was a little disturbing.

I booked seven rooms at this hotel. My room was on the lower level next to the pool. I loved everything about it. The beds were super comfortable. The size was large. We had coffee and a refrigerator which I did not expect. My guests also loved the hotel. They said that their rooms were a bit small and hallway noise was a bit loud. They were on the second floor. Make sure when you get your confirmation that you check that what you requested is actually on the reservation as two of my guests had issues with this. I loved that the hotel was in walking distance of restaurants and bars. My guess also ate breakfast there and said it was really yummy.
