The breakfast and hotel were nice

There was urine in the bathroom floor (floors not washed) and hair in amd around the bathtub.

It was close to the funeral home & events and it was reasonably priced.

Absolutely nothing

The early morning (7 am) breakfast was good, my fiancé brought back breakfast burritos & yogurts. But by 8:30 am, there was basically nothing left other than stale plastic-packaged muffins and one or two more yogurts.

We were attending a friend's wedding, and after we returned from the venue, decided to go down to the pool area. Upon getting out of the pool, we noticed there were *no clean towels* at all. The bins for dirty towels were full and wet, and lounge chairs were heaping with dirty towels as well. My fiancé walked over to grab one of the dirty towels so we could at least dry off a bit before walking back to the hotel room in our bathing suits, soaking wet. As he was walking back over to me, I noticed blood after each step — he had quite severely sliced open his foot on, what we assume, were glass shards in the pool area that had not been cleaned up. I ran out to the parking lot/car to grab our med kit (which I knew would be better than whatever the hotel staff had at the time). On the way in, I stopped by the front desk to alert the worker of the situation: "We were just in the pool area and my fiancé cut his foot pretty severely on something, assuming it was broken glass over by the lounge chairs. We have it under control, I just wanted to let you know so the pool area can be cleaned and no one else gets hurt, etc." I was not met with concern or apologetic rhetoric, rather a snarky, "Well, there isn't supposed to be glass in the pool area so I don't know how that would've happened." I.e., she was blaming us and assuming *we* had broken glass in the pool area, which was very much not the case. ... Upon sitting on the mattress, the bed immediately tilted over and crashed into the wall, the supports/frame entirely broken. We were able to shove the base back under enough to support a tilt-table of an excuse for a bed, and fell asleep. Until(!!!!) anyone in the entire hotel decided to step outside for a smoke break. I guess our room was directly above the front door/reception area and all exhaust/smoke fumes seemed to vent directly into the room. By 5:30 am, it reeked of cigarette smoke (yes, our windows were closed).

The staff was friendly.

Room was run down and in need of repairs. Not enough towels and toilet paper.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had many choices and was hot and tasty.

The "fitness room" had only two machines, no cleaning supplies to the machines, and the lights were on an autotimer and kept shutting off during my workout. During check-in, the man working the desk was obviously visiting with his family and his wife and older children repeatedly interrupted the process, making me feel like I was interrupting family time rather than being treated like a customer.

Hotel general areas and room were clean and comfortable. the continental breakfast was decent, but had lots of variety. The desk attendant was knowledgable and friendly! Would definitely visit again
