Baymont by Wyndham Traverse City

We stayed on the 2nd floor and towards our side of the hallway it smelled like steamed Brussel sprouts or some sort of water damage had happened. In our room the bottom of the cabinet had water damage, and the ceiling in the bathroom had what appeared to be mold spores growing. Our room appeared to be missing a section of curtain as there was a huge gap between the curtain and window where we can see the parking lot lights while trying to sleep. Our room also smelled strange to where we had to buy room fresheners. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Overall it was mediocre for the amount of money we paid for 2 nights. My group overall agreed we would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again when we return to Traverse.

The TC Baymont is so close to all our fav places! We love staying there! Always friendly staff

morning breakfast is horrible, no milk, sausage batty was greasy and hard bumps in them, eggs were water, we couldn't eat it. Yogurts were gone, Were were there for a hockey tournament. And there was no fruit, we find places to stay for her to eat before going to a hockey game... then there isn't anything for her to eat.

Location. Excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful. Dining room and breakfast very nice. Pool area nice. Liked that it was non smoking.

Outside looked rundown. Our room had a crack in the window, crack in bathroom sink, crushed looking bathtub and a loud motor sound all night long making it difficult to sleep.

Coffee was always available. The person at the reservation desk was very nice and helpful.

The air conditioning didn't work well, The curtains wouldn't open and closed properly, and I couldn't find a place to get filtered water either bottle or through a fountain.

No clean towels, no wi-fi, reception staff very unhelpful.

We went to a wedding. The price was reasonable for the area and the hotel was in a good location. The rooms were quiet and clean.
