Dreams Natura Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

The resort so far has been adequate but not excellent. The main disappointment so far is the policy of no Bluetooth speakers at the pool being enforced. Someone was playing profanity laden music at a high volume. The bartender was informed but the music did not stop.

We truly enjoyed this resort. The family loved every minute of it. There was so many activities during the day. We did cooking class every day with either Kevin or Drisdey. They brought in a lot of laughter to our family. They came around, asking us to do Zumba classes volleyball and kept us busy during the day. When we were not with the entertainment crew, we were relaxing and eating, good food and enjoying the weather. We would definitely come back again.

We loved everything about this property. The food is scrumptious, the grounds and rooms are well maintained, the pools and water features are fabulous, the staff is kind and helpful! We observed many happy children and parents, and even though it was just my husband and me on the trip, we enjoyed being surrounded by families and still had our privacy. We will definitely return! It was like a dream come true to be there!

We had such a beautiful stay at Dreams Natura! The resort is stunning, family-friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food options were great, and there was always something to do for both adults and kids. My daughter especially loved the pools and activities. The staff was warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and the overall vibe made it easy to truly unwind and enjoy vacation mode. Definitely a great option for families, couples, or anyone looking for a tropical getaway in Cancun

I had researched this property on Trip Advisor prior to this trip. We traveled for the wedding or our nephew. I must admit I would not have chosen a 'family friendly' all inclusive resort on my own, but I am sure glad we went! I had some pre-conceived ideas about All Inclusive resorts that proved to be totally wrong. There were quite a few negative reviews, but I did not experience any of the issues noted, such as issues getting a chair by the pool, uncomfortable pillows, and unresponsive staff. In fact, I wondered whether some of the reviewers had stayed at the same resort. I would add that I think the time of year you travel makes a difference. We prefer to travel non-peak, non spring break, non school vacation times. Some of your experience is within your control. Yes, there was a wedding every night we were there, but they were not as intrusive as some reviewers mentioned. As many reviews here had noted, the service and staff were unparalleled in their excellence and attention to detail. From the moment you arrive you feel pampered and special. Some staff that stood out where Alexzander, Antonio and Ximena at the Blue Water Grill, Pablo and Roger at VIP Services, and Raphael at the Spa. While there were plenty of kids present, most were very well behaved, and their parents seemed to be in control. I will add that the insider tip to upgrade to the preferred club was well worth it. We had a lovely room, and access to the club lounge and the ala carte breakfast, which we enjoyed. We mostly ate at the ala carte restaurants and cafes and found the food to be of high quality and high standards, and the service excellent, and the portion sizes just right. Yes, as it was low season, not every restaurant was open every night, but with some planning you can sample them all. We also sampled the World Cafe buffet, and found that to be nice with many varied food choices. We will definitely be vacations at this and other Dreams Resorts again. It was a wonderful, stress and worry free vacation.

Overall a great family friendly resort. Our kids (7 and 5) had plenty to do from the lazy river to the water slides as well as loved swimming in our private swim up and the preferred club pools. The kids club was a great option with organized activities that the boys participated in one afternoon so we could enjoy a trip to the spa for their hydrotherapy circuit. The spa is so beautiful and unique and loved the cold/hot therapy water circuit that we were able o do as a couple. Dining options were good and we always found something we enjoyed on the menu. The drinks were well made and fairly consistent from one bar to the next. Our swim up room was very nice and the butler service was very helpful lining up dinners, spa services and transportation! The beach wasn't the best and had a lot of seaweed so we only walked down to the beach once. Good thing the pools were nice and not crowded so still had plenty of sun and swimming time!

My wife and I married at Dreams Natura in mid-May. Our coordinator, Grace, and her team were incredible. They went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was perfect. She walked us through everything, was communicative, and took care of every little detail. Our rehearsal dinner was an international buffet which was delicious. It was initially scheduled for the beach but we asked to move inside due to how hot it was and Grace accommodated us with no problem. We had a welcome party on the beach the night before our ceremony. It included bar service, a fire pit, marshmallows and some tents. We opted to handle the playlist ourselves and I just connected Spotify which worked great. Grace was there to ensure a great time and even included a welcome sign and shoe rack which we weren’t expecting. She also provided a table for us to place welcome bags. The ceremony took place on the Bluewater rooftop and everything went off without a hitch. We held the service at 6:15ish which meant everyone was in the shade (60 guests). The decor was amazing. The photographer we selected, Ivan, was on top of everything. Photos were completed promptly so my bride and I could enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. Our cocktail hour was held at the fish pond with hors d'oeuvres, bar service and a Mexican trio. The trio added fun entertainment for all. Our reception was in the deck and they moved the decor from the rooftop down. Grace convinced us to opt for the fairy lights and LED dance floor which was 100% the right decision. We didn’t add any additional entertainment to the reception but Aldo (MC) and DJ Willy kept the energy high and had a great playlist (we didn’t provide any playlist, it was all them). The surf and turf dinner was delicious and got great reviews from our guests. Belisario and the rest of the wait staff were on point. They always ensured we had drinks in hand and plenty of water too! Since they were all with us from rehearsal to reception, they learned some of our drink orders. Our after party was held in the spa cave and was the highlight of the night. We had a DJ and late night tacos. Although it was a little hot and humid in the cave, our guests were having too much fun to really care. My wife and I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect weekend for our wedding thanks to the Dreams Natura team. Please ask for Grace and you’ll have the same incredible experience we did. We can’t wait to go back!

The whole staff was super friendly with my daughter and myself since we stepped into the resort. We had great moments at the pool, the staff kept her entertained for long moments, and seeing her so happy was amazing. Unfortunately we couldn't try the Oceana restaurant it was closed the days we were there. I mean, two nights from the three we stayed at the resort. But not a problem everything else was amazing. The room was clean, the housekeeping service was really good, they replenished our frigobar every day. Totally would come back and recommend it for family and friends.

We are experienced all-inclusive travelers — married at an El Dorado property, with multiple trips to Riviera Maya over the years — so we have a solid benchmark for what a well-run resort looks and feels like. We arrived at Dreams Natura as a family of four with toddler twins, booked into Preferred Club, genuinely excited for this trip. We left four days early. Here is our honest account of why. --- **What Works** The water park and lazy river are a genuine highlight and well maintained. The resort itself is visually attractive on the paper. A handful of food options across the property were edible but not enjoyable. --- **Families With Young Children — Read This First** If you are traveling with children under 3, be aware that the kids club does not accept them. That in itself is fair and disclosed. What is not disclosed clearly enough is that there are no family activities!! Aside from the tours which are before 9:40am for kids club and for teens club with arcades between 1:00-2:00pm — prime nap time for toddlers — and again at 6:00-7:00pm, which conflicts directly with dinner service. In practice this means there are virtually no organized family activities accessible to parents with children under 3. For a resort that markets itself as family friendly, this is a significant gap. --- **Preferred Club — Not Worth the Premium** We booked Preferred Club expecting a meaningfully elevated experience. What we received was largely the same product as the standard offering with minor cosmetic differences. The a la carte breakfast and lunch options under Preferred Club were poor quality — on par with or below the main buffet. The Preferred Club lounge stocked premium spirits but had almost no mixers beyond the most basic options. The minibar in the room was stocked with a cheap 200 ml bottle of vodka and little else. The pillow menu advertised was not available. Liquid hand soap had been replaced with a bar of soap. For the premium paid, the gap between expectation and reality was stark. --- **Food Quality** Across the property, food quality was consistently below what we would expect from even a 4 stars. Most options rated around a 3-4 out of 10. There were occasional exceptions that reached a 6-7 but a single dish. Fresh juices were not available — what was offered tasted like flavored sugar water. Coffee was poor quality with no cream available, only milk. Service at the buffet was minimal — plates were rarely cleared and coffee was not refilled. --- **Noise** Our original room faced the lobby area (room #2711) and the noise from events and music was significant well into the night — past 11:00pm on multiple occasions. We requested and received a room change, which helped somewhat, but we were informed that noise from weddings and receptions from the beach is present throughout most of the property. The only option presented to escape it was a Presidential Suite upgrade at approximately $2,000 USD additional — which we were also told still faces areas where weddings and receptions are held. --- **Bedding and Maintenance** The mattress in our room was visibly worn — with deep indentations on both sides and what felt like exposed springs. We raised this concern twice over two nights. The issue was not resolved. Replacement pillows were brought but were identical in firmness to the originals. For a Preferred Club room at this price point this is simply not acceptable. --- **Service** Service throughout the property was unfortunately the most consistent disappointment. Staff were not unfriendly, but attentiveness was poor across multiple venues and interactions. This felt less like individual staff failing and more like a systemic culture issue at the property level. A cup left at 5pm on a lounge chair by the beach was there at 11 am the next day; plates with food not cleared out long enough that a bunch of birds are congregating around it to the point that my kids were afraid of them. Additionally, the water pressure outside of the room like in public bathrooms is super low if the tops are even working. We're honestly unsure how people wash their hands because we were regularly left with soapy hands without the ability to properly rinse them off. Not to mention that my 2.5 fully potty trained year-old were terrified of public bathrooms because it made a very loud noise when it automatically flushed. So we had to run to our suite every time my kids wanted to pee, because they were just refuse to pee in the public bathrooms. --- **Final Thought** Dreams Natura is not a bad resort — it is a mediocre one charging premium prices. The gap between what is marketed and what is delivered is wide enough that we made the decision to check out early and relocate. ( For the first time ever, and with a very hefty fee for transportation and obvious booking of the other resort) . We have traveled to many all-inclusives and understand that no resort is perfect. What we experienced here was not a matter of high expectations — it was a matter of basic standards not being met consistently. We hope the management team takes guest feedback seriously and invests in the areas outlined above. The bones of a good resort are here. The execution needs significant work. We have come to a conclusion that the only people there are the ones incentivized by Hyatt reward points or membership loyalty status, which seems to create a wrong incentive structure as regardless of the facilities people remain locked in. --- *Traveled: May 2025 | Family with toddlers | Preferred Club Room*
