"RIU Antillas Great Vacation"

10.0

Great facility. Friendly staff. Good beach location. Food is really good. Speciality restaurants are first come but the food in the main buffet is just as good plus a huge variety. Overall a great experience. Nothing bad to report.

"Aruba is beautiful"

10.0

What a beautiful week. The hotel was clean and staff service was good. The food on the buffet was excellent with an abundance of tasty options, We ate very well. The rooms, nothing fancy but clean. The elevators had some issues at times and the wait could be long and frustrating. The keycards for the rooms often did not work and resulted in going back to the lobby several times to recode. The bookings for the for the à la cartes are not the best process as you cannot pre book and have to wait in long lineups Hoping they have a spot available. The steak house was the Longest wait. The pools were nice. The bars would not fill our average size thermal cups so we had to take the cups and pour them in, this was strange and unnecessary. The location was nice as you can walk to the town in 5 minutes which had many shopping and dining options. The beach, the beautiful ocean and beach was amazing and what will bring us back to Aruba for sure. We would definitely stay at the Riu again, the little bleeps, although annoying did not take away from a wonderful vacation with our friends and family.

"An Unforgettable Stay at RIU Palace Antillas!"

10.0

My husband and I spent a week at the RIU Palace Antillas in Palm Beach in September 2024 , and it was truly one of our favorite Caribbean getaways. Everything about the "One Happy Island" lived up to the hype, and the resort provided the perfect home base for exploring Aruba. Accommodations: We stayed in an Oceanview Junior Suite on the 18th floor. If you are booking here, I highly recommend requesting an even-numbered room on a higher floor. The panoramic views of the lagoon and the ocean are stunning, and the sunsets from our balcony were some of the best we’ve ever seen. The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk team was incredibly accommodating, making sure our stay was seamless from the moment we arrived. Food & Drink: The dining options were impressive for an all-inclusive. Because this is the Adults Only side, you also have the added benefit of being able to visit the sister property (RIU Palace Aruba) next door. • A La Cartes: The crab cakes at the Arubian Restaurant and the Steakhouse were standout appetizers. • Quality: We were particularly impressed with the quality of the steaks and red meat—not just in the specialty restaurants, but even at the buffet carving stations. • Service: The lobby bar crew at Antillas was phenomenal. They were fast, personable, and remembered our drink orders after just one night. We also spent some time at the RIU Palace Aruba lobby bar for their excellent espresso martinis. Entertainment & Amenities: There is always something to do. We attended a Neon Party at the resort which was a lot of fun, though the Aruban heat is no joke on the dance floor! We also spent a few nights at the on-site Pacha Disco, where the drinks were included in the package. The pool areas are great, but being right on Palm Beach is the real highlight—it’s perfect for long morning walks. Excursions: We ventured off-property for two experiences that I can’t recommend enough: 1. Arikok National Park Jeep Tour: This is a must-do to see the rugged, desert-like beauty of the island, including the Natural Pool and Baby Beach. 2. De Palm Island: We opted for a day pass with a premium seating upgrade. It was worth every penny to have a private area with shaded loungers and a front-row view of the flamingos. The snorkeling there was some of the best we’ve done, with a huge variety of fish right off the shore. Overall: This was a fantastic vacation. Between the friendly service, the high-quality food, and the beautiful beach, we couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely return to RIU Palace Antillas in a heartbeat! 🇦🇼☀️🏝️

"Warm weather get away"

10.0

We enjoyed our stay at the RIU Palace Antilla's. I found the room clean and had no problems having our room cleaned daily by the staff. We were on the 15th floor with an average view. The food was good. We did have an issue at the steak house as the steak was not fully cooked, but management quickly resolved this which is what counts. I did not find the non-reservation system a problem. We waited around a half hour for the steak house and got a table at 6pm. The other restaurants did not have a long wait, and we always got a table. The Italian restaurant was my favorite. The drinks at the lobby bar were the best! The location and beach are very good.

"Terrible - do not travel here with a group"

2.0

Do not book this hotel, especially if you are traveling with a group. You cannot make dinner reservations and in order to get a table you need to wait in line at 5pm and then you won't be seated until 8pm...who wants to do this on vacation? It's so stressful and really disappointing. Most nights we couldn't get a table so we had to eat off property which defeats the purpose of an all inclusive. The food for breakfast and lunch is just a buffet, there are no other options. The elevators didn't work, so there were always lines. They make you pay to get a decent chair on the beach. The property is extremely dated & the A/C at the gym doesn't work. It was terrible - I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

"See Aruba"

8.0

Hotel is perfect location! Right on Palm Beach! Don’t worry about loungers, they have lots. Rooms are spacious with a wonderful walk in shower. Service was good, the managers at this resort were amazing. You could always find them walking around and checking up on customers. Was very nice to see. Food was very good, being buffet or themed restaurants were. They do seem to have a problem with labeling food. Watch out if you have allergies!!! Also didn’t have a problem getting into the themed restaurants. They serve local beer which was nice to see. For having a cocktail it was much better to ask for bottle on shelf, not what’s under bar. The lobby bar was very loud and usually packed. Could use another bar with better sound. The shows at night were good, white and neon party little over the top. But I guess that’s what Riu thinks they need to do. Not a fan! Was great to see a paved walking path along long the beach. Shops and restaurants were just a short walk away. The local bus is just right outside of hotel. Was great to take to town (Oranjestad) once in town you can ride a trolley car for free. Was a great way to see some of Oranjestad. We rented a private tour of whole island, was just amazing! Wonderful trip!

"Great service from Rebeling, Estela, John, and Elsa"

10.0

Super clean resort with fantastic beach and great location. Estela kept our room spotless and was so helpful with extra blankets and checking on us. Check in was one of the best experiences we have had. Rebeling was so kind and helpful. She helped us check in a little earlier than anticipated and helped us call a cab to go home. John took care of us for breakfast and lunch. He always had a Coke waiting for us. Elsa out at the pool bar also knew our virgin drink order and had it ready whenever we came up to order! Great place and would highly recommend.
