My husband and I have been on a road trip down the California Coast and found Balboa Bay Resort while searching for a hotel on hotels.com. The room is luxurious comfort with stunning views of the marina and pool. The staff are the epitome of professional courtesy and warm and welcoming. We are loving our stay and glad we booked 2 nights here!

The location

The noise - it is a dog friendly hotel so there were dogs barking and it is used a lot for functions so of the five nights I was there it was only one night where there was no late night music/noise

Ted the concierge was amazing. He followed up with me before we actually arrived to ask if he could do anything to prepare for our visit. I told him it was our first anniversary. He took great care of us had a nice little surprise in the room for us and also upgraded us because we were coming in early. The service was impeccable. Their rooms are fantastic. Food was great. Definitely found our new go to spot in Newport Beach. Can’t wait to come back sincerely Mitch
