Upon first arriving to the property, a glitch in the system they use to provide access meant I could not get in. That was annoying, but resolved quickly by their service team. However, upon getting into the room, there was a prevailing odor of cat urine. I don't know if that is what caused the smell, but it's what it smelled most like. It was, so I message the property in the booking app. To their credit they offered us a different room, but it was after wed gone to bed. The next day we moved rooms, and the next room did not smell initially. However, once we turned on the AC unit the same smell entered the room. Luckily the temperatures were not bad so we could leave the AC off for the remainder of the trip. The issue seems to be with the facility, not the rooms, as we could sometimes smell the same smell in the hallways as we entered. This odor makes this property completely unacceptable, if it were not already 1 am the first night we arrived wed likely have left to book elsewhere. Looking into comment history after arriving, you could see other guests complaining about the same issue, it is clear it is ongoing but not reaolved. All I can offer as advice is for any reader to book a different property.

The location in downtown Long Beach was good. The room was nice with a nice and comfortable bed and a full kitchen. The smart TV was good with adding my apps.

There were roaches for several days for my trip and management never responded to my complaint. They also only left a half a roll of toilet paper for a 7 day stay. I had to buy roach spray and toilet paper for the duration of my stay Parking was not fun. Street parking around the apartments is scarce, but if you are willing to walk a little, you can find some spaces.

Convenient location and as expected.

The AC unit could not cool off the room. It was a steady 75 degrees even with AC blowing cold and set to 71. It was also very loud.

The provided access codes were quite nice and easy to make use of. The room was quite spacious. Location for the convention center was quite nice as well. Texting the management via the app resulted in a quite quick response.

The apartment is quite rundown. I mean, it might just be American quality, but I was very disappointed with the overall poor state of the room and building itself. As part of the rainy days, the foyer was partly flooded. Fire alarms go off in the middle of the night. Also, the doors don't perfectly close; for example the the front door of my room had a crack large enough to light up my room with light from the hallway, while I also got stuck in the bathroom for a minute because the bathroom door could not open. Moreover, everything just feels old, unmaintained, and dirty. I arrived to dust and dirt on the floor, the kitchen smelled like cat poo (or something similar), and bathroom was also not up to standards. Moreover, the shower hot-water pressure was not enough to take a decent showers, shampoo and soap amenities were disappointing, and the toilet often refused to flush.

Movie rental, no movie need be rented, you will find a movie to watch. Free.
