Homewood Suites by Hilton Toledo-Maumee

Was not impressed with Staff no personality. Room ceiling in bathroom was falling apart. Tile by closet in bedroom was laying down. No Bedding for the 3rd person. Really? Was 3 people to sleep in a King size Bed? Lol think not. Breakfast was the highlight. Please, get rid of the Rusty Air Vents!

Our check in clerk was great. He's a huge asset. All of the staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The linens were not Hilton quality but they were ok. The pool was closed for repair which wasn't stated anywhere prior to our arrival. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Overall, 7 out of 10.

The rooms were OK but the beds not comfortable. The personnel during the day shift were only interested in themselves, not the guests. They mostly congregated in the kitchen and forgot about the guests.

Although the room looked clean, it had a smell throughout the suite. The refrigerator had multiple dents, and the couch seemed old and worn out.

We were given a not smoke-free room despite requesting one.

We were located on the end of the 2nd floor hall, near an exit door which turned out very convenient but still had two flights of stairs to contend with, which for older folks can be a challenge. The elevator wasn't even close to us. The room was nice enough but the water pressure was terrible. Both sinks and the shower were barely a trickle, but if you were patient you'd get wet enough. Staff was friendly but limited since it was a holiday weekend. We were also told there would be no trash pickup, so we keep taking it down to the lobby for disposal. We asked for extra towels and we were handed a bundle that we folded ourselves. For what we got I'd say was definitely overpriced, wouldn't stay there again unless there was nothing else. Location was convenient to expressways, one plus.

Rooms felt dirty and temperature made the rooms very hot and uncomfortable.

The room was dirty. The staff had no personality, unwelcoming. The tub held what looked like swamp water. The breakfast was blaugh looking. The bed was very uncomfortable. Over all not good. Would not recommend.

Air vents in room very dirty. Pool was inoperable. Not impressed overall.

We love the room. Very nice, spacious, and great kitchen. Breakfast buffet was wonderful.
