Homewood Suites by Hilton Toledo-Maumee

Room smelled musty and dirty, when we arrived was told the room was not going to be ready for at least another hour after the 3pm check in time. We received this information from what I assume was an employee who was eating a sandwich sitting at a table in the lobby, we did not see a name tag or any identifying uniform. Ice machines not working in the facility, when the reservation was made the pool was open when we arrived the pool was closed for maintenance. The breakfast was limited to say the least. Please look elsewhere.

Loved the stay

Place was dirty and smelled like wet dog. Nothing worked no ice, water all over floor at breakfast and carpets are filthy.

I stayed at this location just a few years back and found the accommodations to be lovely. This time it was almost as if it had not been cleaned since we were there the last time. The hallways smelled bad, the pool hasn't been open for months, the rooms were dirty with broken faucets and broken tiles on the floor. Only cold water in the bathroom and the ceiling falling out. We asked family that live in Toledo if we could come to their house to take our showers! N.A.S.T.Y.!

Homewood suites was great property. But needed some renovations. For example Some of the The tile rack was not secure, some of the tiles were off the sides of the wall and the bedroom door did not close it looks like the hinge was off. I was in a handicap accessible roomIt was just a small things that needed to be taken care of. I am looking forward to coming back and seeing the renovations that can be done to this property and have a wonderful stay.

Both of the young men at the front desk for check in/check out were very pleasant! I've gotten so used to grumpy faces at hotel front desks, it was a nice surprise.

Large comfortable well-maintained room. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome. The staff was awesome. This was a holiday trip to see our children, grands & siblings. Because of COVID-19, we had our family & friends visit us in our suite instead of us venturing from house to house, by scheduling so many at a time. It worked out great.

The room was spacious and well appointed. I liked the front desk service as well as the lobby. The breakfast was better than most Hilton hotels that I have stayed at. If I am in the area again, I will be sure to stay here.

Family with two small children on a stopover for a road trip. Our check-in experience at 9pm couldn’t have been more welcoming or comprehensive. John at the front desk even hunted down a complimentary pack and play and brought it to our room…and got us some milk for our toddler at bedtime. It’s the small things that make a difference. Thanks to the team!
