Great location and relative quiet, clean room and comfortable bed. The host was helpful and he provided free bottles of water for the guests ( apparently tap water hasn’t a good taste in Palermo).

No fly screens to windows, the first night I had to fight with few mosquitoes because I left open the bathroom window.

Bevenuti al Massimo was the perfect location with the perfect host. About a 15 min walk to property from Palermo Train, located around the corner from Teatro. Also, steps away from Via Maqueda a main street loaded with shops, restaurants, and bars. Very easy to walk to all main attractions and enjoy a bustling, vibrant city with amazing history and culture. Giancarlo is a scholar of the history and culture of this amazing city, don’t miss having a chat with him to get the most out of your stay!

Everything is perfect. Sig. Giancarlo is an amazing host, so helpful and so informative. The place is very very very clean. In perfect location. This is my third stay here in this place. I keep coming back every time I visit Palermo.

Thank you Lia & Giancarlo. Your kindness and welcome reflect the great values of Sicilian society. I hope one day to repay your kindness (and that of your daughter too!). The room is very large and very clean. As has been said, there isn't much light (the shutters don't open much) but for me it was good, motivating me to visit the city. It was definitely neat (I'm picky about that), the bed is really comfortable, it was super quiet, and very well located. I stayed for 8 days and thought I'd feel cramped or that it was going to be a bit long, but in the end it was just perfect. I had no problem with the wifi. I did everything on foot (except to visit the towns around Palermo, which I did by bus). It was really one of my favorite encounters and also favorite trip. I was traveling alone as a woman and I always felt safe.

Cleanses, cotton bed sheets, very much information in the apartment, nice host. Special thanks to Lia who accompanied me in my search for something I wanted to by for my house. I had much more than I expected.
