Alfama Tailor Made Green House With a View

We stayed for 3 nights in May and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is spacious, clean, and cozy — very quiet and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent: right in the heart of Alfama, with a tram stop just outside the door that takes you anywhere in the city, although most places are easily reachable on foot as well. Our host was very kind and welcoming — he met us personally, gave a detailed introduction to the apartment and the neighborhood, and even left us a lovely welcome gift. It was a great place to come back to after exploring Lisbon. Highly recommended!

The apartment was in a very good location into the historic center, a little bit loud at night but enjoyable at the same time if you like night life. Very close to excellent restaurants where to have brunch and dinner. Supermarket and all you need was around you. I liked most the living room and the bedroom, very bright and with basic but very elegant design. The kitchen was good and spacey. You feel at home!

I didn't like it was not included the change of towels. After one week, it was necessary but the property supported us on this quite rapidly.

The location was excellent for exploring the older historic areas of Lisbon

The location and the apartment was clean and comfortable.

To reach the apartment it was quite a lot of stairs and there wasn’t a light on one of the floors. The apartment needs a full length mirror. Also the shower leaked.

The location is good, close to the 2 famous mirandoro, bus 28 and 12 in front of the building. The host is super nice to allow us to check in early (our flight was too early) The space is big and kitchen has everything! Near by Also has a lot of small grocery store and you could get the basic essentials.

It's noisy at night because of the bus in front of the building. (pro con) There are pickpocket near the building, please be aware of the important person items.

No air con. Would be stinking hot in summer as sun comes straight in bedroom and loungeroom. Step down from bathroom. Be aware - I forgot and twisted my ankle. Very noisy - no soundproofing. Sound of trams and traffic Access to the property. It was agreed that we could enter early at 1pm. This was all good. We were going to wait at a Cafe until then after arriving in Lisbon. On the day i found out the key giving was let out to another company that was based in SPAIN. I contacted the man i had been dealing with to see if we could get in earlier and he said no problem - the apartment is ready and that i needed to contact this external company. Long story short after many calls and messages we ended up standing out the front of the apartment from 11.30 to 1pm in the hot sun waiting to be let in with a barrage of lies that someone was there - then we were told we were at the wrong location - NO. Then told someone else was on the way. The person arrived at 1pm. Why not just be upfront and say you cant get in until 1pm and we would have waited at a cafe as agreed. I dont like being lied to. This put a sour taste in our mouth from the beginning. Advice - How about a lock box and then you can save all this trouble....

Great location, and really nice accommodation. Staff were also great, both Tomas and particularly Gil were very helpful with information and useful tips.

The apartment was clean ,good location,tram right outside noise not an issue very traditional,view of the sea in the distance beautiful at sunset .

Just the hallway, entrance could do with revamp a bit eerie walking up stairs to apartment.

Very friendly staff! Very spacious apartment and you will receive a compliment.

For those who need mobility, this area is difficult to access from the metro and you will have to walk up and down. But there are always taxis.
